Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful for photos of my angels. I had these two made into canvases to hang on the wall near the bed.  I have had Angel Sammy’s for a while and it was on the wall, but Angel Emmy’s is heavier and ended up knocking his down. I need my hubby to hang them properly because 3M hooks aren’t sturdy enough.  Joanie was interested in the one with her brother.

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.

Here is the photo prompt.:

This is not what you think,

you have not had too much to drink.
The truck owner is some kind of clown
who wanted his truck to look upside down.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. Those are nice photos to remember your angels. That truck photo is picture and your poem – funny! XO

  2. They are beautiful pictures of your angel cats. I was able to do cross stitch pictures of 3 of my girls and they hang on the wall to remind me everyday how much I love them.

    1. Thank you. You should post a photo of them, I would love to see them. XO

  3. I always wondered if the 3M hooks were as ‘sturdy’ as the commercials claim. Thank goodness there was no glass to break
    Well done on the poem.
    Hugs Cecilia

  4. Charlee: “We love your canvases of your angels. Mama and Dada have two little paintings of Chaplin and me that Chewy sent them for no apparent reason.”
Chaplin: “Chewy sent the paintings on account of we’re awesome.”
    Charlee: “Oh, of course.”
Lulu: “That truck setup looks like a great way to save wear and tear on your tires!”

  5. We’d heard that those 3M hangers don’t always stay good.
As long as nothing was damaged, right?
Saw a vehicle like this last year; there is a HUGE classic car festival in Metro Detroit each August.
    Very wild.

    1. These weren’t damaged, but Rusty knocked one of my button art pictures down and it lost a lot of buttons. That must have been fun to see. XO

  6. Sweetest canvas prints of your Angels. How nice to have them. I have never thought of doing something like that with a photo of the Z Cat. I should really do that.
