We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

 

Emmy is thankful her Dad is going to go with us to her recheck appointment today so she doesn’t have to listen to me sing to the radio for the one hour ride each way. Last Wednesday I had to take her myself because Drake also had to go to e vet as well. On Thursday, Grammie drove us and while Emmy was getting her fluid drained ( I had to drop her off because they didn’t have an exact time to do it) we ate at the diner where the latest season of Dexter was filmed. The waitress had been an extra in an episode.

We are joining the poetry day named after Teddy’s angel brother Sammy ‘s Poetry Day. Here is the photo prompt provided.

I thought I was marrying a stud, 

but he turned out to be a dud. 
He’s rich and there was no pre-nup
so fairly soon I can trade up.
