Thankful Thursday

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Trouble is thankful that her cowlick is gone.

And The Potato Head family is thankful they have a castle of their own- fully furnished. I found it for $35 on Facebook Marketplace. Yes, I am crazy, but I want a place to display my collection. There is room for more potatoes in it too

We are joining the poetry day named after Teddy’s angel brother Sammy ‘s Poetry Day. Here is the photo prompt provided.

At the library, studying for a test

I am cramming but need a rest.
At last night’s frat party, I drank a lot
I should have skipped that last jello shot.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. Cute poem this week!

I bet the brushiies helped Trouble get rd of her cowlick! She is a beautiful cat!

That is a great way to show off all the potato heads…like a big family, now they have their own dwelling place.

I had to buy a case to put a lot of my drummer collection in, as they were quite small, and getting lost on the shelves they used to be on. Now only my large ones are on the shelf.
You are not crazy at all! YOu were thoughtful to provide housing for your homeless potatoes!! I bet TGO andd TM will love playing with them😃❤️🥔🏠

  2. Oh, those potatoe heads are priceless! And a real HOME, wow. Typhoid Mary and The Great One must go bananas in your creative house! I would…..

    1. Thank you. 🙂 They have the same castle, but they love all the toys I have for them here. XO

  3. HAHAHAHAHA!!! Love your poem today – and it could VERY WELL be the truth behind this photo! Thanks for taking time to play along with us – your poems are always PERFECT. Love the potato castle – who knew they could live in luxury like that!!!

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom too

  4. Trouble is looking lovely without her cowlick! That is a very fancy castle for the potato head family. Great poem too.

  5. Mr. Potato Head is a classic toy! I’m glad I didn’t drink in college and still don’t. I can’t figure out what’s the fun in getting smashed with the thoughts of an awful hangover the next day and not really remembering what you did the night before. I don’t like feeling out of control. I’ve experienced this once while in the hospital and under some strong pain meds. I hated it! I’d rather have some discomfort than to feel like I can see straight.

  6. I kinda miss the cowlick Trouble. Imagine a castle for the Potato Heads, lovely!

  7. Trouble is so cute. I love all kitties, but black kitties are my favorite.

    Love your poem.

I’m all ready for the Friendly Fill-ins. Thank you for co-hosting the fun.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to all the kitties. xoxo ♥
