Thankful Thursday

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Joanie is thankful that she got her Nanny for Christmas.

Now she can have more time for napping. She is also thankful for getting to have a play date with The Great One ( I am thankful for that too).

I am thankful that my mom. my niece, The Great One, Typhoid Mary and I got to take our annual trip to IHOP for the holiday pancakes.

Sorry I skipped the poem this week.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  3. My human hasn’t been to iHop in years! Mainly because the last time they went, they started putting the calorie count on all the dishes, and it made her sad and not want to eat anything.

  4. I am glad Joanie got her nanny so she can have more “me time”.

  5. Joanie! GOOD for you. I know you needed a Nanny! Now your wish came true. Mom said that iHop has too many calories for her…but the stuff is good.

  6. Those pancakes look delicious! I am so happy you were able to do your holiday tradition of pancakes at IHOP. The Nanny will free up a lot of time for Joanie so she can enjoy time with The Great One.

  7. Wonderful thankful things. Pancakes at IHOP. I so remember my son loved going out for pancakes.

I’m already for the Friendly Fill-ins.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. xoxo ♥

  8. I haven’t sat down in a restaurant for pancakes (or anything else) since 2019! I have to make my own but it is worth the trouble. That must be an ‘old’ Nanny. i can’t believe they would still make them.
