Hi everyone!  We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop  I am thankful that I am finally going to get to the dentist for my cleaning today. I didn’t get there at all last year because of COVID. I am also thankful that several of the books I ordered from the library arrived – I will be writing about some on Monday.  And I am thankful there is a great new tv show on that my hubby and I both love. Resident Alien on SYFY- we have watched the pilot episode 6 times ( yes, we have both lost our minds).

I am skipping the poetry because I couldn’t come up with a funny poem to go with the prompt.

  8. I am still waiting to be able to go to the dentist to have my bridge reaffixed. I doubt it will still fit after all this time. I can’t see any photos again today 🙁 I don’t know why I keep having problems on your blog. It must be something between mine and yours that is not compatible.

  17. I have a dental cleaning tomorrow, funny enough. lol And Alan Tudyk is awesome. We adored him in ‘Firefly’ as well as the short-lived ‘Dollhouse’. I just discovered this show, like so many movies and series, is based on a comic book. Let’s hope this one lasts longer than ‘Almost Human’ with the amazing Karl Urban. Be well!

  18. We hope everything goes well at your cleaning tomorrow! When I had mine done (18 months between cleanings)–I was thrilled! I shall have to see if Resident Alien is on one of our subscriptions. My son and I watched Avenue 5 (its about a Cruise Space Ship that has technical difficulties), we got sucked in and binge watched the first 6 episodes and I can’t wait to see the rest! (disclaimer, it has poop jokes). We are thankful for you guys! You and your cats ROCK! Trouble, that is a purrfect shot! Have a marvellously Happy Day!

  23. Good luck at the dentist. I eventually went for my cleaning after delaying it for months. We watched the pilot of Resident Alien and liked it. We only watched once, though 🙂 I have the 2nd episode on my DVR to still watch.

  27. I saw a trailer the other day for Resident Alien, and the main actor on it (Alan Tudyk) is one of my favorite actors. I’m even more excited to watch it now that I know how much you enjoyed it. And did Trouble watch it with you? She sure is a cutie! Purrs!

  30. I’m overdue for the dentist too. Our regular dentist retired this last year too, so now I have to find a new one. I really liked and trusted him, hope we can find another just as good.
