Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone!  We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop .

I am thankful for all my kitties, but Sammy is my special boy. He chooses to spend all his time with his mom.

Also thankful I had time to craft. I made this scrap wreath and these kindness rocks to leave out for people to find.

The orange one says- orange you glad you found me?

We are also joining  Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt provided by Teddy’s mom:

Finally something to cross off my bucket list.

I sure hope I don’t break a wrist.
At least if I fall on my rear,
with all my padding it won’t be severe.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. Sammy is a sweetheart!

That is a great way to use up scraps! Very pretty!
Those rocks will make peeps smile! We all could use some smiles at times like these.

Your poem made me giggle!! And while I don’t have too much extra padding on my derriere, I likely would break more than my wrist! LOL! Right now sometimes, I think hubby feels like that lady, with his wheeled walker…but no way, no skateboarding for him, ever again…because I won’t allow it, LOL!

  2. That is a fun poem. She is very brave to give it a go. Sammy is a sweetie, and so are you for leaving those gifts for people to find.

  3. HAHAHAHA……cute poem!! I’m fairly certain if I fell off that thing I’d be OK too with all my padding. HA! Sammy is your special boy for sure – nice to have a constant companion. Love your crafting projects – you are SOOOO creative!

    Love, Pam

  4. the rocks are soo neat! I have a friend who lives in Texas and she and her kids go to some place where they often find rocks. The found one with a cat and mailed it to me! I think that’s such a nice idea! I would want to go walking more too if I could find fun stuff! Maybe I need to make some and hide them from myself ?? ha ha

    1. That was sweet of her to mail it to you. You should , it is a lot of fun. I like to go back and see if it is gone after a week or so.

  5. Sweet Sammy! I love the wreath and the kindness rocks, too cute. The poem is darling, have a wonderful Thursday!
