Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone!  We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop

I am thankful that I got to see my 2 great nieces this week. My mom and I got to babysit and we will be once a week for June. It was nice to get to play with them for a long time instead of a brief outside visit.  We refrained from hugs and kisses and washed hands often.

Jinx is thankful for his Dad.

We are also joining  Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt provided by Teddy’s mom:

Feel free to step outside for some fresh air.

That is, if you dare.

It is a very narrow ledge
so be careful not to fall over the edge.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  4. Great photo of Jinx with his Dad! Also wonderful you got to see your nieces in a safe way for everybody’s sake. We’re with you on the SCARY photo for poetry this week – it’s WAY WAY WAY too high for us. Birds belong up there but not kitties and people!!

    Hugs, Teddy

  10. So good you got to visit family – so important for our souls! 🙂 Things are different but I just keep telling myself this is the next step.

That balcony freaks me out so bad! I am so afraid of heights that I can’t hardly even look at a photo of somewhere like that. LOL.

  11. I’m glad you finally got to see the little ones. We’re going to do that next month too. I can’t wait.

    Jinx is a handsome mancat.

  24. This truly is an awful place. Although a roof is a roof and if its warm it would be a blessing. Just don’t go outside.

  25. Hey Ellen what a wonderful time you must have had with the nieces…
My friend just saw her granddaughter in the flesh yesterday for the first time since March.
They had been facetiming at night.
