Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Emmy is thankful her book has the same illustrator as Prancie’s Prayer. Here she is reviewing some of the illustrations.
And I am thankful her blood work was good and Prancie’s was too.
Emmy wrote the poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day based on this photo prompt.
Living on the water is not for me,
I would rather live in a tree.
I don’t like to be wet,
staying on land is a safer bet.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Mom came up with the first two and our co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. I admire ____________________.
2. I can’t wait for _____________to bloom.
3. I’m proud to say _________.
4. _________ make(s) me nervous.
Emmy, I can’t wait to see your book!
Thank you. XO
We’re excited about your very own book coming out Emmy. How wonderful is that?!?!?! You might be right about living on a boat………Mom and Dad said they saw a very large canal boat that was a “shelter” for kitties when they were in Amsterdam. I wonder what those animals thought of their view!
Hugs, Teddy
I have heard of the cat boat in Amsterdam, but I prefer land. XO
Emmy, you are very wise to keep a paw on your book. Humans need to be supervised constantly.
I agree 🙂 XO
Great news on the blood work! I am excited to see your book, Emmy. I don’t know that I could live on a boat all the time, but this one would work!
Thank you. This one does look nice. XO
Clapping for your very good poetry!!
I wonder if there are CATS that would want to live on the water? LOL
Hugs Cecilia
Thank you. I think there are a few that would like water, like Purrseidon. XO
That was a cute poem and you’re so cute too Emmy! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you. XO
Emmy, dear furiend, I think living in a tree would be fine, but would purrfer to live on a boat and become a Sea Purrtector!
Purrseidon
We knew you would write that 🙂
Emmy, I cannot wait to read your book! I adored the illustrations in Prancie’s Prayer, and I know I’ll adore your illustrations just as much. Your poem is purrfect, and all of the kitties here agree. Dry land is the way to go!
Thank you. XO
Concatulations on your book, Emmy! We have friends who are boat cats, but we think living on land suits us better.
Thank you. Yes, we hvae boat cat friends too, but we like land. 🙂
Congratulations on your upcoming book Emmy! We agree about living on land is safer than living in the water.
Thank you 🙂
Emmy’s going to have a book! How exciting! Nicely written poem for the prompt. On the water might be nice depending on what sort of body of water. I think the houseboat is awfully adorable. Hope your weekend is warm and wonderful.
Thank you I hope you have a wonderful weekend too. XO
Good news on Emmy’s bloodwork! From what I can see of the illustrations in the picture, they’re almost as cute as Emmy herself! Good luck and congratulations!
Thank you 🙂
I loved the illustrations in Prancie’s book, so yours are sure to be equally good.
I am glad both of your bloodwork results came back good.
Cute poem!
Thank you. XO
Concatulations on your book, Emmy ! We’re glad you got good results for your bloodwork. Purrs

Thank Cat both of the tests were good. Loved the poem?Pawkisses for a Happy Thursday???
Thank you. XO
Love the poem Emmy I keep saying that I should write one but never manage to do it. Perhaps if I work on it all week, I’ll actually get one by Thursday.Yippee, to getting the same illustrator as Prancie had.
Shoko
I hope you do a poem for next week. XO
Have you heard of the Catboat? That’s what the picture makes me think of.
Yes, I have. 🙂
YAY for good blood work and books and NOT living where your paws can get wet.
The Florida Furkids
Thank you. XO
I think most cats would agree that land is always better than water!
There are a few that don’t mind it, but none of mine 🙂
Living on the water would be fun unless the boat leaked. Living in a land house is fun unless it leaks, too. Can you tell i don’t like leaks?
I don’t like leaks either.
Our mommy would love to live on a houseboat and a treehouse.
She likes to mix it up 🙂
We’re excited about the new book, Emmy! Excellent news on the tests, too.
Thank you. XO
Emmy, though our mom thinks a houseboat would be a great place to live, especially this beautiful one, we agree with you. Dry land for us. We can’t wait for the new book! XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Anything with pets is a winner. Fun blog, Emmy!
Thank you 🙂
You must be really excited about the book. And extra happy about the positive blood work results! xo
Thank you. XO
That’s good news about Emmy’s and Prancie’s bloodwork.
Thank you. XO
Emmy, I’d rather look at water, rather than be floating on it too! Which is kind of funny, since I live in The Great Lakes State, where there is huge bodies of water EVERYWHERE! I am so excited about your book!
That is funny. Thank you 🙂
MOL we love your poem and agree 100% although Mom thinks she is a mermaid and would probably love to live in or on the water. Glad everyone’s bloodwork was good.
Thank you. XO
We’re so happy for the good bloodwork results, and also that you got the same illustrator again! ♥
Thank you 🙂
Great poem and I definitely agree with Emmy!
