, The theme for 52 Snapshots of Life is “Patriotic” , a few weeks ago it was “flag” so we decided to be a little different today. I have a small collection of Statues of Liberty, this one was for outside, but I didn’t want her to get damaged so she stays inside. I added a frame with ribbet so I could use the same photo for Athena’s Blog Hop too.
Phoebe wanted to decorate her pole for the holiday too. I took this photo years ago, but Phoebe looks so cute, I had to share it.
I am glad we don’t have plans today because my cats sure do. Sammy will be at a Cat Scouts party, he is hoping they have a hot dog eating contest. and my 3 tabbies will be at the Tabby Cat Club. Have a safe and happy 4th!! Phoebe will be here tomorrow.
And thank you to Ann of Zoolatry for the Box Day Graphic:
Lucy and I love to read so we are joining a hop called I found out about it from Socratesbookreviews.com, but it is hosted at: http://www.fredasvoice.com/p/buttons.html . You pick a line on page 56 in the book you are reading. I read 5 books at a time so here is one: Just Kids from the Bronx by Arlene Alda. It is a collection of oral histories of people who grew up in the Bronx from the 1930’s-80’s. Page 56 is by George Shapiro, “We worked in the Catskills on the weekends and on holidays, at Grossinger’s and a place called the Flager Hotel.”
Thank you for the prayers for Phoebe’s Dad, he is on an antibiotic and improving- he even did some gardening yesterday. See you tomorrow for lots more hopping.
