Hi everyone, before I get started I want to do a moment of silence for the one year anniversary of Lucy leaving us. 009 We all miss her.

And it has been 15 years since 9/11twin towers

Today is Grandparent’s Day too and I want to wish my Grammie a Happy Grandparent’s Day! I love her so very, very much!

I want to thank all of you for harassing Mom about the treats, she changed her mind. She did say we should have a little less every day though- phooey!

  1. Great selfies. Special love for Lucy, too. And hugs, Mom. I know it is always a void that they leave. But, then along comes another one…like Brody.

    I don’t listen to Sinatra. But, Ella Fitzgerald is a favourite! I do still listen to The Stones, Neil Young, REM, but, also Carly Simon, Carole King, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, James Taylor…yeah, there are many. They fuel my writing.

  3. You all look lovely today. Hey we had a praying mantis in the catio a while back. We know we posted him but don’t remember if it was for Sunday Selfies. If not, your guy has the distinction of being the first praying mantis on the hop. So happy that Mom Ellen has loosened up on that silly treat rule. Hop goes live in 10 minutes.   6. Purrs to you on this day, in honor of your dear Lucy. And we are also thinking of all those affected by the tragic events of the 9/11 of 15 years ago.

    Your selfies are all so wonderful! That is one neat guest you have with that praying mantis. I love that it looked right at the camera. It must be a pro at this. And I sure bet you’re all mighty happy that your mom loosened up on that treat rule. Even if she is still cutting back, at least the treats are still flowing! Purrs to all of you!

  7. I said a little prayer in memory of Lucy……I know you miss her very much. We are also thinking about 9/11 – we did two posts today in fact….one for the selfie hop and another about 9/11. We love praying mantis critters and when we see them in our garden we thank them for all they do to keep the pests away!

  34. The praying mantis are great at posing! They are fun critters to photograph. I took a photo once of one eating a snack. Maybe I’ll remember to post it soon. I love your shot!

    I’m sorry for the sad anniversary. It is never easy to let our babies go.

    Prince and Michael were great! I remember the name Motley Crew, but not Ratt. I remember listening to Michael when I was a kid. My cousin and I were staying with our grand-aunt one summer and choreographed a dance along with another cousin to Michael’s song “Dance and Shout”. It was a blast. 🙂

  35. Motley Crew!!!! Sometimes you just never know.We’re missing Lucy, too. I know your mom’s heart hurts for her. We like the praying mantis!! She’s so big! Every once in a while we’ll see one around here – but they’re never that big!! Good to see Brody – Phoebe, are you sure you don’t have a crush on him? We love you all!!!
