We are joining The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop

Joanie wanted to take her selfie with her prizes. The local pet store had a costume contest and all participants got a gift bag with treats and a toy. She was the only cat. The winner hasn’t been announced yet, but she was so cute in her nurse costume that I bet she will win.

I didn’t want to stress her so I was going to take Sammy in his UPS costume, but when I went to get the costume out, she came right over and started purring. She really misses The Great One dressing her up every week.

 

We will be showing our costumes on Halloween. They are all based on books and whoever guesses the most correctly will win an Amazon gift card. Joanie has a different costume for Saturday.

Our neighbors have a 25 foot black cat for Halloween.  I have Halloween decoration envy.  🙂

  1. I hope Joanie wins! I can already tell you we won’t be winning that Halloween contest unless all the books are over 50 years old – my human’s taste in books, like her taste in movies, is very vintage!

    We had a pet costume contest at our pet store but alas, *She* was working at the same time. Phooey.

    And there was another adoption event from the same rescue where Dalton came from…Pawppy says thank goodness *she* was at work, MOL!

  4. What a great nurse costume, Joanie. That huge cat is cool, but dad says he can’t stand those big inflatables that people put up, especially when you see a yard chock full of them.

  14. Joanie sure is a sweetie and looks darling in her nurses outfit. Dad sure misses getting around and we would have some fun outside stuff it he could. Wow that is an amazing cat!

  29. You’re stunning, Nurse Joanie! I cannot wait to see all of the book-inspired Halloween costumes. How fun that will be! And I love that giant cat decoration. I would most certainly also have Halloween decoration envy. I’ve never been brave enough to put any decorations that large in my yard, but I’d certainly love to.
