Sunday Selfies

Hi everyone!  We are joining The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop. This week we are doing something special with the hope of helping our friends at Colehaus Cats. 2019 was a bad year for them and there is still a possibility they could lose their home. You can read about it on their blog. Click here.

On their blog, there is a donate button and an Amazon link to their wishlist.  My kitties and I are offering you all some goodies if you can find it in your heart to donate to them.If you donate at least $10, we will send you something of your choice. This is what we have to offer-

Emmy has a lot of her books left.

Prancie only has 2 copies left to offer.

And Joanie is posing with 4 fabric choices for catnip mats. We have a Dr. Who, a white with tuxie cats on it, Mermaid kitties and Dr. Seuss characters. We only have enough for one of each. Be sure to read comments before specifying a pattern to be sure it isn’t spoken for already.

I apologize, but I can only afford to ship in the USA.

If you donate $20, choose 2 items, etc. You get the idea. Please help our friends keep their kitty family together. Once you donate, let me know and I will email you for your mailing information. I know everyone is broke from the holidays, but please find it in your heart to help. Thank you.

PS: Please share this post so more people can help. Thank you.

    1. Thank you. Everyone in the Cat Blogosphere is kind and I am sure they will help them through. XO

  1. Such a wonderful, generous thing to do=we hope your kindness comes back to you!…We are worried for our friends too and pray they are able to keep their home and stay together…Have a wonderful day, sweet friends…XO…J, Halle, Sukki

  2. Nobody cares more than you all do…..you are so generous and kind to EVERYONE but when someone is about to lose their home you don’t think twice – you try to help. We just love you all so much and I know Colehaus Cats will appreciate your kindness.

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam

  3. Thank you for this dear Mom Ellen. You are a good and loving woman. I will contribute. XX

  4. We would hate to see those kitties lose their home. We convinced Mom to send them $25. Please let us know if they continue to be in danger and we will talk to Mom again. You don’t need to send us anything if you don’t want to. Otherwise, we really loved the mats you sent before (we have lost them). We don’t want to be hogs, so maybe the tuxie one? If not, we don’t think Emmy looks like a skunk, but we’d like to read her book. Purrs, Snoops and Kommando Kitty

  5. That is great of you to do this for them, and we’ve sent $50 but wish it could be more. No gift required though we appreciate your own generosity.

  6. Their situation is breaking my heart. They did everything right, and are still facing disaster. I’m hoping I can contribute later this month. Thank you so much for your kindness.

  7. I am sorry to hear Quint’s family is still struggling. I will donate $25. It is so kind of you to take the initiative.
Please let me know how to send our contribution.

  8. OH I hate to hear news like this. The best I can do due to the fact of no job, is pray.
We’re happy you’re trying to help them. We wish them the best.

  9. I already bought one of Quint’s paintings and sent them a couple items on their Amazon wish list, but please give your gifts to others. We already have both of your books and many many cat accessories (we need to downsize at our age !) This is such a good idea – maybe someone else will set up a commenthon !

  10. This is so sweet of you to help the Colehaus Cats! I was able to buy one of Quint’s paintings before Christmas to help them… Good thing since my husband passed away on December 30th and now I’m not able to help… Prayers and Hugs.

  11. We know of the Colehaus cats but not a lot about them. I just read their post. We’ve had our own struggles since losing our jobs. But one thing we always say is that as long as we can keep our home we’ll be OK. So far, so good.
I couldn’t do a lot, but picked one thing off their wish list to send.
Thank you for sharing about this, we are glad to get a chance to help. But for the grace of God….you probably know the saying. ♥

  12. Your kindness is one reason we all love you so.

Yes, i gave a bit, and since we have mats and your books, please just send those to someone else, or maybe sell them to make more money to help.

  13. It breaks my heart to hear this, miss Ellen. It’s so good to have compassionate furriends like you💗On my way to bring paypurr…Pawkisses for a Happy and Healthy Day to you all🐾😽💞

  14. Ellen, you and your kitties are so sweet to all those you know, including the entire family over at the Colehaus Cats. We have donated and are also sending them lots and lots of purrs and prayers! It breaks our hearts to know that they are going through all of this. Thank you again for all the wonderful things you do, Ellen!

  15. Miss Ellen, you have the biggest heart! Thank you so much for helping the Colehaus Cats. We are going to donate today, but we won’t take a gift since we already have your books and a mat! We’re just lucky cats!
