Hi everyone! 100_9957-2 I am tired today. Too much entertaining lately. We had some nuns over for dinner last night. They like kitties so after dinner Mom let us out of prison the bedrooms to visit. They had fun beads hanging from their dresses, but Mom said we couldn’t play with them-phooey! One has the same name as my Grammie. I love my Grammie so very much. I am happy I will see her tomorrow. Mom asked them to pray for our friend Sammy and they said they would.

Many of you seemed interested in a Festivus party so I am going to have one on December 23rd. I will have more details soon so get your list of grievances ready.

This week , we are going to work on our letters to Santa. Starting next Sunday, we will have selfie letters to Santa for 3 weeks. Mom takes a few blank letters every time she goes to Macy’s. Luckily, she goes often so we have plenty of letters.

Mom has a cold so she hasn’t been singing. I like Christmas music when she is not singing along with it. This is my favorite- I think it is about cats because she says “for the black and the white, the yellow and red ones, let’s stop all the fights.”

  2. I love how you’re playing peek-a-boo in your selfie, Phoebe. Too cute! And how fun that you made friends with the nuns, even if you didn’t get to play with their beads. We, too, are praying for Sammy. Festivus sounds like it will be a blast, but in the meantime we can’t wait for your letters to Santa! We’ve been playing Christmas music just about nonstop since Friday, and the furbabies probably wish this human would stop trying to sing along. Purrs!

    We think we should work on our letters to Santa too, though we mostly want treats .
    Mum has not been playing any Christmas music yet, but she will at some point 😉

  16. Tell them if they come again, they need to bring worry beads or Mardi Gras beads for you to play with so you will leave the Rosary beads alone. Yes, i know, it’s hard to tell the difference, but they know.

  17. That’s a cute winky selfie Phoebe. My mom’s aunt is a nun, but she’s retired and doesn’t wear beads. But my mom has a picture of her in her black & white penguin garb. We saw a flock of Dominican sisters in their habits a few months ago and they had beads hanging from their waists. They were pretty big though I think they might hurt if you get wrapped up in them.

  31. You didn’t get to play with the beads? Awww… MO– USES! Peep #1 got a new pair of earrings. Cheap and trashy… What’s that, Peepers? Inexpensive and sparkly, she says. I’m gonna blog about ’em soon. And by the way, I HAVE ALREADY INFORMED the peep that I will be playin’ with ’em, for sure. MO– USES!

    Letters to Santa?? Hey petcretary can you help us?? You know we have not evfur done that, not sure if she will let us, since she says Christmas to her is not about Santa…phooey. We are kind of late, else she might have let us write some to St NIcholas since he comes round on Dec 5th…at least to us of European heritage! Petcretary’s furmily comes from The Netherlands where this is a big deal!
