Sunday Selfies

Hi everyone! We are joining The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop.

If you follow me on Facebook then you saw this yesterday.

This is what she did to the haunted House scratcher. I wonder what will happen to the Christmas Tree this year as it will be her first Christmas with us.

In her defense, Sammy decided to take a wall out, not realizing it was load bearing.

Next Sunday we will start our Tocktober selfies.

I am having a giveaway on Goodreads for Prancie’s Prayer. Thank you to all who have done reviews and helped spread the word, I truly appreciate all your help.

  1. Ooopsie. Look like a great place to stay too.
We’ve never had a christmas tree. Mummy says she might put the decorations on the cat tree this year instead. We don’t know what that means but it sounds fun and we’re excited!

  2. Even if it is now a dilapidated structure, that haunted house looks so cool and fun! Trouble, are you going to be like Eddy and scale the Christmas tree every chance you get? Until I adopted Eddy, I never had to worry about keeping the Christmas tree upright. I am sure newbie kittens Tonks and Winky will have their way with the Christmas tree, too.

  3. I did see this on Facebook yesterday. It reminded me of our Little Bit during her first Christmas. She did destroy a few decorations. I’m sure it will be entertaining.

Have a purrfect Sunday Selfies. My best to your mom. ♥

  4. I love this picture! Trouble looks surprised and mischievous. I got kick out of Sammy’s pic too. He doesn’t seem to mind the wall.

  5. Oh, yes, that does bring back memories! Trouble is living up to her name, MOL! We had lots of destroyed items here in the past, due to the curiosity of young kitties, and the rampages of 2 kittens doing zoomies…and one kitty who decided napping in the Christmas tree would be a great thing to do. He broke two trees..sigh…I miss him, he was the first kitten that came into this den, way back in 1988. (Simba)

I thought that the makers of such ‘homes’ would have to be up to the know of building codes, MOL!

    1. It sounds like Simba was fun. When we had a regular width tree, Phoebe slept in it, but then we got a narrow one and she left it alone 🙂 XO

  6. MOL really great selfies guys!

I think the Catmas Tree may have to be in another building, if the playhouse is an indication of things to come! MOL

  7. MOL, we know what planning folk are like and it was worth testing the water with a trial demolition! Who knew the foundations were as flimsy as paper? MOL
Toodle pips and happy selfie (collapsed) purrs

  8. Hee! Hee!
Taking Down the House would be a great thing to do around here!
I think you guys did a great job! Love the selfies!

  9. That’s the fun of having cats (and dogs)! We gave up on having a Christmas tree a long time ago….unless I can put it in a room that can be closed off when not supervised! We haven’t figured that out at the new house yet. 🙂

  10. Well those houses aren’t very sturdy are they! Still, it’s fun to do a little DIY and rearrange walls….tee hee. We’re excited to see how Trouble ENJOYS (!) the Christmas tree……look out belowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

    Hugs, Teddy
