Hi everyone! We are joining The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop.

    We forgot Garfield Day yesterday so Joanie wanted to pose with him.

And my kitties want to wish their Cat Daddy a Happy Father’s Day! And Happy Father’s Day to all you Cat Daddies out there!

 

And there is some man cat out there in my town that is the father to Ethel’s kittens.  I was going to get her and Carol spayed on Wednesday, but was unable to get them into traps. I can pet them, but not pick them up. That worked out for the best because she had kittens Thursday. She had 3, but one did not make it. 🙁   I am praying for the other 2, one is black and one is a dark tabby.

  5. Happy Father’s Day to the male human! There is a family of kittens around our house, and my human is trying to see how to get them visiting regularly enough so one of the local rescues can trap them. I am enjoying watching them through the window.

  9. Sorry about one of Ethel’s kittens didn’t make it. Those cats had a tough start so it doesn’t surprise me about the kittens – we sure hope the others will be OK. Wishing you luck trapping them. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to your Dad !!

  21. I hope you can help out the kittens. Last year my mom and dad took in Esmay and her kittens until the kittens were old enough to go to their furever homes. It’s a good thing they did, too, ’cause one had wounded leg.

  23. Happy belated Garfield Day! Happy Fathers Day to the 15 and Meowing Cat Daddy! He is a jewel! And Ethel had Kittens! WOW! We do hope you can get them trapped and spayed. Some of them are pretty smart at staying out of traps! We purray that you catch them (and the new babies) soon, it sounds like you have your hands full!

    1. Thank you. I am hoping to get Ethel and Carol fixed tomorrow- not sure how long after kittens they can do it, but she no longer has kittens. 🙁

  30. Garfield brings many smiles and lots of lasagna. I am going commenting today so I know about the loss of the kittens. It is tragic but I am grateful Ethel is ok. Those felines are smart. I hope you can capture Carol and Ethel so they can be fixed. My friend Lorna is an old pro at this stuff. She once caught a very angry racoon. He was not ahppy to have been caught in her trap. But she fed him well and away he went. SHe is a brave soul.

    1. She is brave. I already had these 2 trapped, but had to let them go in a bathroom until I could get them fixed. Getting them back in traps was not easy, but they got spayed yesterday. 🙂
