Straw Hat Selfies

Hi everyone! Apparently straw hat day is today so I figured we would make that the theme of our selfies. DSCF1297 (2)  I added a green flower to go with my eyes.

DSCF1299 (2) Joanie wanted to look nice for Simon, she has a gray flower to match her furs.

And Penny wanted to look good for Toby: DSCF1300 (2)

Speaking of hats, nothing good can come from this:DSCF1239 Mom got it from the library and liked it so much that she ordered one for herself. There are directions to make all sorts of hats for cats. Crap.

My Grammie was here yesterday. I love her so very much even if she forgot the container of treats she said she bought for me.

  9. I love all of your straw hat selfies! You are all such perfect, patient models. My kitties aren’t always (as in pretty much never) cooperative when it comes to wearing hats. I’m sorry to say it, Phoebe, but I can’t wait to see what all hats your mom creates using that book. Purrs!

    1. They are not that patient, I had to crop my hand out of most of the photos 🙂 I am looking forward to making some hats.

  17. All we wear are Christmas hats, but I think I may have a doll somewhere with a straw hat. I will look for it today. Love the hat photos. We all do not mind wearing hats, as long as it is not for long.

  23. Hehe, I’m with Summer on this one, my peep wouldn’t know where to start with a book about making hats! I think I am very safe on NOT wearing one, real that is. Now a Tiara would be another thing entirely! purrs ERin

    1. Thank you, My Mom didn’t make this hat. The ones in the book are made with scrapbook paper and I know she is going to be making those- phooey!
