Selfie Sunday

  “Watcha doing Phoebe ? ”

( Phoebe) Getting ready to wear the Queen Esther costume for Purim. You have to be special to wear it.

(Joanie) I iz special.

(Phoebe) Yes, you are special. You can wear it.

Happy Purim to all our Jewish friends. If you want to learn about Purim, there is a great website called My Jewish Learning that has 9 facts about Purim. One fact is that Queen Esther was a vegetarian.

Did you see what I did there? I tricked Joanie into wearing the outfit. I am having a St. Patrick’s Day giveaway. Mom is going to make a catnip mat with this fabric. Just comment on today’s post to be entered in the giveaway. I will announce the winner on Tuesday.

I got to see my Grammie on Saturday. I love her so very much!

We are joining The Cat On My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop.

Phoebe, concats on getting out of it (mol).
We are going to have to be on Our Guard today and tomorrow. We saw Mummy getting the Purim hats out of hiding (She has to keep them out of the reach of Shimshi’s sharp little teeth and claws).
    Happy Purim to effurryone.

  8. Wow, Phoebe, a move worthy of a TUX. Not that I would dream of doing anything like that, being a Princess and all!
Having said that it isn’t good to shirk ones duties, and that costume does look rather fetching on Joanie!
