It’s Monday! What Are YOU Reading?

Hi everyone! Today we are joining Book Date’s It’s Monday! What Are YOU Reading? Blog Hop and Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays Blog Hop.

  Sammy hopes he is awww…worthy.

This has been a slow reading week. I read a Biography about James Gandolfini, but it wasn’t authorized by his family so I was not thrilled with the information the author gathered.

I am enjoying a book sale find, A Cat’s Life : Dulcy’s Story by Dee Ready. It was written in memory of the author’s cat that lived with her for 17 and a half years. I love reading about the bond between humans and their cats, they are all unique. It is available on Amazon new, used and a Kindle version too. Click here

Don’t forget to comment on yesterday’s post for a chance to win a St. Patrick’s Day catnip mat. Winner will be announced Tuesday.

  1. Sammy is most definitely Awww worthy!! Mom is reading the book you sent her. She says Thank You so much!!!❤️❤️❤️

    1. Sammy thanks you. I am glad she is enjoying the book, I hope she finds it as helpful as I did. XO

    1. Reading blogs is time consuming, especially when you comment and have to go through the captcha stuff.

  2. My Mom wishes she had more time for reading but I seem to occupy a lot of her time (??!) or at least that’s the excuse she uses. Cat Scouts was mentioned as an issue too (??!). Seems maybe she’s following too many blogs and going through all that verification stuff just to leave a comment means a LOT more time online than she’d like. Excuses, excuses……!!!

    Hugs, Teddy

    1. Same here, I have had to stop commenting daily on several because there isn’t enough time.

  3. I finally seem to have gotten my reading mojo back but this week looks like a busy one which might limit my reading time. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  4. Thank you for the book tips. We downloaded both of Dulcy’s stories. Mommy can’t wait to read them. She has to finish her legal thriller first. Looks like she’s going to need a hanky for the second volume.
    Happy Monday!
Angel Normie, Angel Mika, Sasha & Grady Lewis (celebrating his Gotcha Day officially today).

    1. I need to download the second one too. Most cats stories need a hankie because cats have such short lives compared to us.

  5. My mum often reads two (or more) books at the same time.

She is currently reading BORN TO BE TROUBLE by Sheila Jeffries and THREE SISTERS, THREE QUEENS by Philippa Gregory. She reads a lot of animal books too, and pet blogs!

    1. I have read one of Sheila Jeffries books, she is a good writer and your Mum is too. XO

    1. I am amazed you have any energy to read after all the cleaning and unpacking, etc.

  7. You and Sammy sure know how to do adorable, Phoebe! Of course, we know you’re also ferocious 🙂 I’ve read several fictionalized biographies (classified as fiction only) … but it’s unfortunate when a biographer purports his writing to be nonfiction despite not knowing the subject during his life.

  8. Sammy is a cutie! I have two books sitting at my side of the dinner table, but I didn’t read a word this weekend. Better get too it!

    1. You are very welcome. I know your family and all the blog world misses you. XO

  10. Oh no! We’re embarrassed to report that Mommy is not reading anything.. *shakes head* She says she’s too tired and stressed from work (which she brings home) and trying to blog.

    1. SOrry your Mom is so busy and stressed. I hope you give her lots of purrs to relax her.

  11. I am also embarrassed to admit that we aren’t reading a novel at this moment. We are busy researching information, setting, characters, situation, etc. for our next Xander adventure.

  12. MPOmmy loves kitty stories. Not too many of them any more….which makes her sads.

  13. My reading has been varied this week.

After finishing my autographed copy of The Fireside Sphinx by Agnes Repplier (pub. 1901), I have begun reading her other cat book, from a decade later, THE CAT: Being a Record of the Endearments and Invectives Lavished by Many Writers Upon an Animal Much Loved and Much Abhorred
I am also reading the most recent few issues of my Writer’s Digest subscription.
I have also spent some time looking at camera reviews and reading about a Camera Monopod Walking Stick I am thinking of buying.

    1. Those sound like good books, I will check the library for them. I also like Writer’s Digest.
