Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is ROAR day and I have found a couple ways to help cats with little or no cost involved. I do hope to make monetary donations eventually, but first I need to make some money.
First off, the other day I shared the Animal Rescue League of Iowa Inc.’s patterns for cat toys. To thank them, I am going to send them the ones I have made so far ( and I plan to make them a few more too).
There is also another great way to help cats that won’t cost you a thing and is a lot of fun. You can post a photo of your cat on Twitter at #mygreatcat or @proplancat. Pro plan will donate cat food for every post-for more information here is the link: http://www.proplan.com/mygreatcat/ . I want to thank the blog, http://ihavecat.com/ for making me aware of this. Ihavecat is a great blog about someone single in the city with cats-kind of the opposite of me, married in the country with cats. The important part is that we both have cats.
Enjoy the day and please share this blog- when I get more hits, I can advertise and make money which I will donate to help cats.
What cute little cat toys…I’m sure they will be happy to have them. Thanks for letting us know about the donation program too – so easy.
You’re welcome! The link to the pattern to make the toys is on Monday’s blog.
Those toys sure look like fun!
Those cat toys are adorable! The best things are always handmade 🙂 Thanks for sharing about the Pro-plan Twitter photo thing – great to know! And thank you for stopping by our blog today. We love making new furiends! 🙂
Thanks for coming by our blog and saying hello. It’s great to meet cat bloggers we didn’t already know. Your cat toys are adorable, and we suspect they’re going to be big hits with the shelter. What a fantastic way to give back.
You’re welcome, I enjoyed your blog. I love to read all cat blogs, it amazes me how unique they all are.
