ROAR

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is ROAR day so I am going to buy some kitten food to donate to T.J.O’Connor Animal Shelter for the Kitten Shower:

tjoI am also going to get some Beechnut all meat baby food that they have on their list. I think this is such a great idea to get supplies ready for kitten season. Sadly, there are still so many unaltered cats out there that Spring brings lots of kittens to the shelters.

Please visit Phoebe tomorrow, she loves visiting with everyone and would write every day if I would let her. 001

  1. What a cool idea. We will have Mom mention it to the rescue as well as the shelter she and Dad volunteer with. Phoebe, you are looking quite lovely there on your perch. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

    1. Phoebe says thank you 🙂 Yes, you should mention it- it is a great way to gather supplies.

  2. Lovely idea to help out with the kitten shower and you’re right – kitten season reminds us that there are SO many crowded shelters due to unaltered cats roaming free……. As for visiting Phoebe tomorrow? We wouldn’t miss it!

    Hugs, Sammy

  3. When we has kittens and mommies to look after, they love Beechnut!
Mom also gives it when a kitty am not feeling like eating…

    Purrz,
    Lil Bear
who ate Beechnut when he had a bad cold.

  4. This is such good work we commend all you do. We work with several local groups to help out all those in need. Our dear friend feeds some large colonies covering 17 blocks in a local town and it is so difficult as there are more unaltered cats all the time. Working together the groups get at least 4 and up to 10 a week to low cost Spay/Neuter programs. We donate what we can as Dad cannot do front line work any longer.
Again, Thanks so much for all you do!

    1. I wish I could do more, but I can’t be hands on or I want to keep them all. Your friend that feeds the colonies and TNR deserves the real credit. And your Dad helps a lot too.

  5. A kitten shower is a fantastic idea! It’s a great way to get people to the shelter, get supplies, and maybe even get some kitties adopted!

  6. What a good idea! If you attend the shower, I’d love to see how the shelter looks and what the do for the event.
Hi Phoebe, looking very pretty and relaxed!
    xxoo

    1. I doubt I will get to attend. My hairdresser’s daughter volunteers there so I am sending the supplies with her. I will see if she can get photos though. Phoebe says thank you 🙂

    1. Thank you and that is sweet of you and your Mom person too 🙂 XO

  10. Good thing you know just what brand of baby food to get. Peep #1 went lookin’ for chicken baby food for me, a while back, and she had a really tough time findin’ somethin’ that didn’t have onions and garlic mixed in. MO– USES!

    1. I would check the one I bought, but I already gave it to my Mom to give to the hairdresser whose daughter volunteers there. I assume it is safe though.

  11. We hope the Kitten Shower proves to be really successful! It is a sweet idea! And thank you to your Mama for donating food..we know the rescue will appreciate that very much 🙂
