Phoebe’s Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! Today is Thankful Thursday which is now hosted by our friend Brian of Brian’s Home. I am thankful that I got to see Grammie on Wednesday, I love her so very much. And my Dad bought us that big container of Party Mix that I posed with yesterday.I am not thankful though that Mom went shopping and got more stupid costumes for us. 100_9627

Today is Sammy’s Poetry Day featuring the letter U:

We all need to pray
for cats without families
until they have homes.

  1. Awesome poem! Phoebe, you are a lucky girl between your never-ending supply of Party Mix and your Grammie 🙂 I’m thinking Brody should be recruited for the costume fittings, right?

  2. My human hasn’t been near a pet store since Halloween – by the time she gets to one, I’m sure all the costumes in my size will be picked clean.

  3. I’ve always wondered what the pets think when they are put into the costumes that we as humans think is sooooo cute. Now at least I know. 🙂

  4. I don’t like costumes either, Phoebe. Why do moms think we’re so cute in them? Have a great Thursday !!

  5. Well count me in on your wish for all kitties to have homes……UNTIL that happens we will ALL be waiting impatiently!! We will be “filling in” tomorrow AND blogging for peace too.

    Hugs, Sammy

  6. You have such purrfect things to be thankful for, Phoebe! Although those new costumes may not be one of them, we sure can’t wait to see you modeling them. And your poem is so wonderful! We’ll see you tomorrow for the fun fill-ins!

    1. Thank you, I am glad you like the poem. And thank you for participating in the fill-ins.

  7. I know how much you love your Grammie. I know how much you don’t like dressing up too.

Have a purrfect day. My best to your wonderful peeps. ☺

  8. We are waiting for at least 70% off for pet costumes. We hope they cat sizes are all gone by then.

    1. These were 80 % off at Michaels, but they were very picked over, I was lucky to get 2.

  9. You scored nicely, Phoebe…Party Mix! Don’t worry about the costumes; no one will see you in them (except for the entire internet when your momma posts them…LOL)

  10. You are very blest gawjus. Sounds like your daddy is da cat’s meow. We’re fankful to have ya’ll in our lives. Big hugs fur all. Have a great day.

  14. We say AMEN to that poem….we sure do wish every homeless animal could magically find a home
    hugs madi your bfff

  15. Yes, i pray for and work with the cats without families, and we rejoice at every one that finds a place!

  16. That reminded the petcretary that she has some similar items she ‘rediscovered’ in the closet…we had better hide. Also we saw her get out the PTU’s that always means trouble. Both PTU’s Yikes!

Glad you had a great day with your Grammie. Grammies are so special…ours did not have any kitties, but years ago our angle furblings, Groucho, Simba, Suki and Toki all did get to meet Oma…and play with her knitting, MOL! She didn’t know about treats or stuff like that…sigh…

    1. Peace is a blessing we all need to aspire to achieve, with evfurryone we may encounter. Peace in its true form is a joy and quite fragile so it needs to be carefully tended like a delicate flower.
    2. I need to get a lot of household chores completed, but I keep procrastinating. Blogging is more fun, and then there is work…and of course there are the three of us furs!
    3. A friend is like a crown jewel. Highly esteemed and very precious. .
    4. I always try to find the humor or blessing in each thing that may come my way.

( I have answered these today, cause I will be going out of town for several days to visit with my dear Aunt and my sister. ) .

    1. Thank you for your answers. I hope you have a wonderful trip and visit with your Aunt and sister. I love all your answers. I am sorry your furbabies didn’t get to meet their grandparents.

  17. A short and sweet purrfect poem. Phoebe, you certainly have quite a gathering of friends. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
