Hi everyone! I haven’t seen Grammie in a few days, but I am going to see her today. I love her so very much.

Mom and Dad have been playing cribbage. I forgot how much fun it is. I give mom a bitey every time she goes to move her pegs. I don’t bite Dad though- MOL!

I was so happy until I saw this: 002The stupid vet office sent a card to remind Mom that I need a rabies shot- phooey! Any ideas of where I can hide this?

I love my purrince! It is almost the one year anniversary of our first date and when we fell in love. I can’t believe this time last  year I was hoping for a Valentine’s date. I am so thankful for him. I am joining PepiSmartDog’s Thankful Thursday Hop

  5. Bitey cribbage sounds like a fun game! We should teach our Mommy how to play. MOL!
    We suggest ripping vet reminder card into tiny, tiny pieces and peeing on them. Works every time.

  6. Uh-oh, those shots are never fun! Mine are up to date, which is a good thing since I will be going out of town this weekend – again! My human has never played cribbage, and Binga wishes she would since apparently it’s important to have a kitty there to bite at least one human, and she is certainly game!

    1. Binga would love cribbage. We only need rabies every 3 years in Massachusetts, so I shouldn’t complain.

  7. Oh, Phoebe, what a lovely video of yours!! Silly Mom played a lot of boardgames when we were at her parents’ place, but they never let us join!!!! We’re so envious!

    We don’t know how you can hide the card. Humans tend to have a good memory on these kind of things, so we’re not even sure it’s worth hiding it. That being said, under the fridge is normally a good place.

    1. That was so mean of them not to let you join in the fun. Board games are fun because there are lots of little pieces to play with. Too late for the vet card, I am going Tuesday- phooey!

  11. Phoebe I think it’s too late to hide that reminder card from the doctor…..yep – your Mom has seen it so it’s a “done deal”………but you will be brave I’m sure. My Mom used to play cribbage ALL THE TIME but hasn’t in years. My Dad is a stick in the mud about games so she doesn’t get to play but that’s OK because she has ME ME ME to play with!

  14. I loved hearing you purr, Phoebe! I don’t know what to tell you about that letter from the naughty vet – it looks like your mom already has photographic evidence of it. But, to get your mind off of that, happy almost anniversary to you and your purrince! Purrs!

  15. Pretty Phoebe…can you give me a refresher course on how to play cribbage? It’s been much too long, but I know I could pick up euchre again in a heartbeat. Hope your Grammie gives you lots of treats and snuggles!

    1. Cribbage is fun, you just bite the hand of the person moving their pegs 🙂 The people playing seem to want their cards in a row or the add up to 15. I always have fun with Grammie 🙂

  23. You have a lovely purr Phoebe. My mum doesn’t play cribbage so I don’t have to give her the bitey. She does show me her cards when she plays poker though because I always sit by her.

  29. My mom learned to play cribbage when she was very young…around 5 years old. Her grandpa taught her. Their version didn’t involve any biting.
    You have a great purr in the video.

    1. Your Mom learned to play very young. It is a great game for learning counting. I like my bitey version 🙂

    1. Snowball is happy, Pierrot is handsome and naughty. She is a good girl , she never gets in trouble. Too late on the card, I have to go to the vet Tuesday- phooey!

  33. Mom doesn’t play cribbage so she doesn’t need a bitey. Ocean still tries to give her one anyway once in a while – until he realizes his mistake.

    1. Tell TBT to keep practicing online, although it is not as much fun as the real thing. Maybe you kitties can give him some biteys.

  35. ……….We loved hearing about your cribbage antics. We would like to play cribbage. Recommending you hide that rabies notice with dust bunnies under a low surface like a bed. You can do it!
