Hi everyone! I am here with my money saving tips. I write the first Tuesday of every month. You know what else happens the first Tuesday of the month? Walgreens has senior discount day for those over 55. That means my mom is going to be a senior is July. For now, she can go with Dad and he can get the discount.

Father’s Day is coming up, so I found you some freebies for your dad, or for whoever wants them.

And as promised, I am offering free card readings.

If you want a reading, get out your deck of cards (remove the jokers). Shuffle them and divide into 4 piles then put them back together.

You are going to take the top 4 cards. Flip the first over, then flip the second one and place it sideways on top, then flip the next one and put it to the left of the first card. The 4th card goes to the right of the 1st.  Tell me in the comments which cards you got in that order, and I will tell you your fortune. Try to concentrate on a question you have while doing it.

    The first card is the 2 of spades and on top of it horizontal is the Jack of clubs.
    On the left of the 2 of spades is the King of clubs.
    On the right of the 2 of spades is the Queen of clubs.

    1. Thank you. The 2 of spades is the present and means wistfulness. The jack of clubs is your current influence- a male or female with dark hair that you do not agree with on an issue. The King of clubs is your past- a dark-haired levelheaded man and the Queen of clubs is your future- a dark-haired woman you want on your side in a business transaction. That is a lot of clubs- do you play solitaire with them? You may want to mix them up better and try again. xO

    Have my own set of tarot cards and a ‘how-to’ book, but haven’t made the time to learn the craft…yet.
    Have to admit to getting a senior discount here or there, despite not quite being the age mentioned.

  22. Great tips,Penny. Now I know abut Walgreens. Our loclahealthfood store gives out senior discounts every Wednesday, and once a month they give a coupon for anyone to use in our local ‘Shopper News’.

    I don’t do card readings…sorry!
