Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone!  I am bracing for the storm.

No, not the hurricane. I mean the kids. Typhoid Mary is going to be here all day today. She wanted a day with mom all to herself to make slime and play dolls. Then on Wednesday all the monsters kids will be here.

I got some exclusive footage to show you. I will warn you, it is pretty icky.

Those are the scratches on my mom’s face from when she fell asleep while reading and dropped a book on Dusty. Too bad Dusty is not named Bob then she could say a Bob cat did this to her. This was a few days ago, it is much better and she is using some scar prevention gel on it.

Mom got more Halloween stuff. Six little wooden ghosts. She is going to give one to each kid and one to her mom so I guess she gets to keep two.

Well, that is all I have for this week. I am sure I will have more for next week.

Don’t forget to join in Trouble’s Black Cat Appreciation Day contest -see Sunday’s post. Winner will be announced on Wednesday.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

  1. Rosie, such a cute picture of you! Good luck riding out the storm of kids! Yikes those are some serious scratches! Glad to hear they’re getting better! Cute ghosts! XO

  2. Great update Rosie. Sure is a busy time at your home. You’ll need a long nap after Wednesday. I hope the scratches heal quickly for your Mom.

  3. Oh, my cod, those are not just little paw pats! These things happen with us kitties and we are so sorry for your mama and yes, they are healing and not infected it seems and the anti-scar cream works well, too. May your day with the little …uh…visitor be UN eventful! Hugs to all of you.

  4. Rosie that is a shame about Mom’s face. But you know Kitty cats, when they get startled the toenails come out. We’re sure it’ll go away soon. Good luck on the hurricane of children shows up.

  5. Thank you for the scoop, Rosie. Wow, those are some nasty scratches, and I hope they heal quickly. Those little wooden ghosts are too cute!

  6. Oh man Rosie, those are deep scratches! Mom knows those hurt too. She mentioned before that Admiral did the same to her for the same reason. Hope they are all better quicker than quick!

  7. Rosie, sending you purrs so that you remain unscathed during the upcoming kiddie onslaught!
We think your Meowmy should tell people that it was a wild cat, that’s not bending the truth.

  8. Gus, who was napping with me when he was terrified by an imaginary ghost. He used me as a springboard to get away. My scratches were on my neck, side of my face and my ear. The ear one hurt the most. He’s lucky he’s cute! 🙂

  9. Yikes on those murder mitt injuries. I get them from Squeaker from time to time. Usually when she wants to play.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to mom. ♥

    1. Thank you. 🙂 The gel is working- photo on Thursday. If it didn’t cost so much for postage, I would send you one. XO

  13. Best of luck weathering the ‘storm.’ So sorry about those scratches and we send our best healing energy for them to fully heal. Guess poor Dusty can be quite the ‘scaredy cat.’

  14. Poor Mom and poor Dusty, I’m sure they both feel badly about how it all happened.

    Happy Tuesday!

  15. The ghosts are cute! Your poor mom…that looks painful! And kids are most definitely a hurricane 🙂

  16. Charlee: “Oh, your poor Mom’s face! We hope she is healing up nicely!”
Chaplin: “Rumor has it that our sister Pooh Bear who we never met once got our Mama right on the nose when Mama was holding her and a little kid came running up wanting to pet Pooh Bear. Apparently Pooh Bear couldn’t get away fast enough, and if that involved running up Mama’s face, then so be it.”
Oona: “That sounds like something Charlee would do.”
Charlee: “What, you think I’m some kind of coward? But yeah, it totally does.”
