Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone! I have great news! Grammie is here with us.

Thank you for all the purrs and prayers and woofs and good thoughts.

And thank you to Marv and his mom for this beautiful badge.

I have been doing a little math. Mom bought a 20 pound turkey( on sale, 49 cents a pound), there are 3 people and 12 of us kitties so that is 15. 20 divided by 15 is 1.33 pounds for each of us. Mom doesn’t really like turkey and Grammie doesn’t have much of an appetite right now so I think it will be more like 1.66 pounds for us.

Rumor has it that those kids will be here on Wednesday to visit Grammie so I better rest up.

Hope you all have a nice Thanksgiving.

  5. That’s a lot of turkey eating. It’s a good thing Mom has all of you kitties to take the pressure off her to feast on bird Thursday. I hope Grammie feels better soon and that all my furriends have a blessed Thanksgiving!

  6. I think my first comment got thrown into your spam folder. My security protocols probably aren’t liked too much is my guess. Let me try this again. I hope Grammie feels better soon. Here’s to a happy and blessed Thanksgiving. Enjoy all that turkey eating, little furriends!

  8. I am super grateful Grammie is home and better and with the family and the family with HER! Rosie, you look wonderful today! Give Gramie a smooch.

  9. Good to read that Grammie is where she ought to be now.
Here’s hoping that you all score a bit of turkey meat; Da Boyz go loopy crazy for it (The Hubby only uses a tiny bit of salt & pepper), but Henry is in for a treat.

  10. A Thanksgiving with very big thankfuls … Grammie’s homecoming, turkey for all (and trimmings, right?) … sweet kitties all ’round, and lots of love shared!

  11. ‘Sweet photos of you Rosie ~ Think you will have enough turkey???? ~ Enjoy and rest up

  12. Good news on Grammie being with you. Hospitals aren’t fun.

We not turkey fans here either. We’re having meatloaf, potatoes and gravy and white corn for Thanksgiving.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Ellen. Big hug to mom and lots of scritches to the kitties. ♥

  13. Even if it’s a #20 turkey, please remember there’s bones and giblets, which you don’t eat (you boil the giblets for gravy and the carcass for stock for your gumbo). You won’t quite be getting over a pound of meat, friend, but I’m sure you will get plenty.

As for Grammie, hooray! I hope they found everything that’s wrong and were able to fix or treat it so none of it gives her trouble ever again.

  14. Glad to hear Grammie is at your home. Enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner Rosie. That’s a lot of turkey.

  15. So glad that your Mom is with you. Being with loving family and precious kitties will be great medicine for her recovery. Sending loads of purrayers your way

  16. Charlee: “We saw in a comment on another blog that Grammie was finally there! Hooray!”
Chaplin: “It sounds like there’s going to be plenty of turkey to be apportioned out to all of you after the humans are done with it, right? Right … ?”

  17. Rosie, I think I commented here once. I am not sure. Oh well can’t say too many times how great it is for Grammie to be home with you all! We aren’t turkey eaters so we are having chicken. Now you can have a wonderful Thanksgiving with everyone!
