Hi everyone! What a rough two weeks it has been.
I was starting to like The Great One. I even let her rub my tushy for free. And then when I walked through the room, I heard her say to mom, “why is Rosie so fat? ” CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
And they celebrated Christmas in July. The girls each got two gifts. I got none. So unfair!
The girls fought almost the whole time they were here. Typhoid Mary wanted a turn on the futon instead of the bed, but mom wants her to use the full-sized bed so she won’t fall off. They fought over everything. So now, their mom won’t let them stay over this week. I don’t know why mom is sad about that. She saw them today and I heard her tell Dad that they fought over everything again.
Poor Rudy had a bad time last week. Mom locked him in the closet all night. She got a new roll of paper towels out of the front hall closet before bed. Then in the morning she wondered where Rudy was and after a big search, she found him in there.
Well, I guess I can relax for the rest of the week.
We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Lots of excitement for awhile at your place, Rosie! Maybe you could do with a little break from the girls until they settle down a bit … We’re sad for your Mom, though. Anyhoo, you’re not fat, you’re just the right size! XO
Thank you. XO
Dearest Rosie,
That was a lot of fighting and mean talk about YOU and all that without getting any gifts…
Hang in there and enjoy your relaxing time.
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
Thank you. XO
NO GIFTS? What is Santa thinking, that is, if he was around…
And poor Rudy locked up all night. Maybe the paper towels came in handy, haha. Those two little girls had better make peace soon. They have a lot of years ahead of them to settle things between them and right now is good time to start, age-wise. Just wait until they have hormomes, haha…..
He should have jumped up higher, he would have found bags of cat food. 🙂 I am glad I get to bring them home. I love them, but I couldn’t deal with that all the time. Ykies when they are teens. XO
Oh dear, it sounds like things got very lively at your place! Of course you are not fat!
Thank you. XO
Oh rosie, that sounds like a whole lot of commotion going on in your house. So sorry to hear the girls were fighting and they still got Christmas presents. I would have thought Santa would have put coal in their stockings. And poor Rudy I bet he was glad to escape.
He should have put coal in their stockings. XO
Little hoomans do a lot of fussing and fighting with each other but I betcha there furballs that do the same, right? Kids say the darnest things and frequently without a second thought. I’m sure The Great One didn’t mean to offend you Rosey. 🙂 Poor Rudy! That reminds me of a time my once little boy followed me outside. I didn’t know it. I went to get the mail and he went into the side yard to the swing set. I came up, went back in the house, and locked the front door. I asked the girls where is their brother but they didn’t know and then the door bell chimed. I peeped out the peep hole but couldn’t see anyone. Normally, I wouldn’t open the door but I decided anyhow because….yep that’s right I figured it was my little boy and I was right. He stood there very calmly waiting for me. I didn’t scold him too badly. I just made it clear he’s to let me know when he comes outside like that because I may not know and I don’t want any bad people to steal him. The whole thing was scarier for me then it was for him. Bless his little heart, he was clueless!
That is quite the story. Glad your son stayed safe. XO
Oh gosh, you guys have had a real tough few days. Hopefully things are all sorted out and the girls will be kinder to each other and then all the other things will run more smoothly. 🤞🏼
Thank you. I hope so too. XO
Poor Rudy… just looking for a quiet place. Rosie, I hadn’t thought you might have to go through the squabbly phase with the girls. Take a break and start out fresh.
They have always squabbled, but this is crazy. 🙂 XO
On, no, Rosie! You are not fat, and it sounds like a lot of hoopla was happening at your house. Poor Rudy locked in the closet – bummer. We couldn’t find Callie the other day and went into a tizzy. Finally, we searched the closets and there she was taking a nap.
Glad you found Callie. Apparently, cats like closets. XO
Oh Rosie, my goodness! What a time of it! Rudy, I hope you got a LOT of treats for that!
Thank you. He did. XO
Oh dear!
Here’s hoping everything smooths out now.
Thank you. 🙂
Hectic week! Our cats don’t like getting locked in closets either. We have a mandatory nose count every night but it’s not foolproof
I do count when I get up during the night, but sometimes a couple go upstairs so I assumed he did. 🙂
What a week, Rosie! At least you didn’t get locked in the closet. Poor Rudy.
I wouldn’t have minded. :)XO
OH NO locked up and alone…whew…Rudy
Oh dear sisters do like to challenge each other.
Hugs cecilia
I wish they would be quieter about it. XO
WOW, what a crazy time. I think several of ours would have volunteed to get locked in the closet!
I am sure some of my others would have liked it too. 🙂
Charlee: “Wow, Rosie, they called you fat? So rude!”
Chaplin: “Speaking of which, Charlee, are you still on a diet because you gained some weight after you—”
Charlee: “LIES!!!”
Chaplin: “Our Dada says he and his brother used to fight about everything too. Seems like a thing siblings do. Not Charlee and me though.”
Charlee: “We do too fight. You like to jump on me and hold me down until I squawk, and you always used to run me off the top of the fireplace when I would sleep up there.”
Chaplin: “I don’t do that so much anymore though, right?”
Charlee: “Right, because you’re afraid it’ll attract Oona’s attention and she knows exactly how to deal with you.”
Chaplin: “That is SO not true.”
Charlee: “Oona, Chaplin is being obnoxious!”
Oona: “Did Oona hear somebody say Chaplin wants Oona to come over?”
Chaplin: *runs away*
Charlee, you don’t need a diet. XO
Maybe your mom needs to have the girls over one at a time for a while.
That is a good idea. 🙂
I’m hoping this week is better. All that arguing and fighting isn’t a fun thing.
Yikes on getting locked in the closet. We worry about that all the time.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to the kitties and a hug to mom. ♥
Thank you. XO

Oh no. We’re sorry Rudy got locked in the closet. We hope he got extra treats to make up for it!
Yes, he did. 🙂
Sounds like it was quite an intense week all around. Hope everyone, human and feline, gets a bit of a break this week 😺
Thank you. 🙂
Wow what a week! Sorry you got no gifts, and that the littles caused a ruckus while they were there. And you are not fat. You just have lots of fluffy beautiful fur! Hope this week is going better. <3
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Poor Rudy – we hope he at least got a good night’s sleep. Maybe the next time the girls get to sleep over, they won’t be fighting so much.
Woos – Misty and Timber
I hope so too.
Kids have a tendency of saying whatever is on their minds, sweetie. Don’t take it personally. Poor Rudy! Didn’t he scream to be let out?
NO, he was very quiet.
Hope you enjoy your rest Rosie. Sorry to hear Rudy was locked in the closet. It’s easy enough to close the door without knowing a cat is there. I’ve done the same thing.
I will. 🙂
So sorry those girls were so noisy and disruptive. Maybe they b=need an ultimatum, yo behave or no more visits for X amount of weeks…
We don’t think you are too fat, you look great!
Enjoy your peace now, Rosie.
Rudy, you need to let your mom know if you get stuck somewhere…years ago, Suki was locked in our closet, When we came back from being gone, Groucho was sitting in front of he closet door sand wouldn’t get up or leave…we spend the door, and out she pranced!
Their mom already did that which is why they couldn’t visit this week. Rudy should have meowed. XO
Poor Rudy – Almost all of us have been locked in a room. Once it gets dark, no one looks for you.
Very true.
