Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone. Sorry I look so tired, but I am still worn out from Friday when The Great One and Typhoid Mary were here. I hid a lot and let Friday and Joanie deal with them, but I can’t get any sleep- how can 2 little girls be so noisy?

In other news, Dad accused mom of being a stripper. He told her she always strips screws on battery compartments because she uses the wrong kind of screwdriver. You didn’t think I meant the other kind of stripper like Daddy had at his Bachelor party years ago? I wasn’t there, but I don’t understand why someone would bring a can of paint stripper to a party.

I made friends with Penelope, she is pretty nice. I kind of feel bad for hissing at her when she first got here.

So far, Friday is doing well in her role as My Girl Friday. I knew she was going to be perfect for the job when I looked at her resume.

Well, that is all I have for this week.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 Glad you got a chuckle. Mom bought that sign because the cat looks just like Friday. 🙂 XO

  2. That is a funny cartoon!!
Rosie take a nice long nap…then you’ll be ready for the next cast venture(s) at your place!!

If it makes your Mom feel better, Petcretary has stripped wallpapered plenty of screws, too!! LOL! Not at parties, though, tee-hee!

  3. You do look very tired after the girls visited. Thank goodness Joanie and Friday kept them entertained. That is nice that you and Penelope have become friends.

  4. Dear Rosie, it’s funny how our daddies get upset in our houses if we make some tiny tiny little mistake with a tool. We wouldn’t want to count the ways that they’ve made a tiny tiny mistake, now would we. And I am so proud of you for being Penelope’s friend.

  5. I got a good laugh out of your post today, Rosie. You poor thing need to get some sleep! I am glad you made friends with Penelope.

  6. MOL MOL MOL what a fun gab fest.
OH do I remember (and so do my ears) the high squeals and squeaks of little girls at play. Everything requires a very loud reaction.
    Penelope is a brave girl.
    Hugs Cecilia

  7. Charlee: “I’m with you, Rosie! I hide when there are strangers in the house, and it’s exhausting keeping an eye and ear out waiting for them to leave!”
Chaplin: “Hmm why does the sign say ‘butt napkins’? Isn’t that roll of paper for us cats to spin it out and spread all over the bathroom?”

  10. I knew mom was never a stripper. You did make me laugh out loud. Love the butt napkins. I spewed my coffee.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and a hug to mom. ♥

  11. Little kids are noisy, Rosie! Fact of life! It’s good you have your gal Friday because your Mom says she is like Joanie with the girls.
Your Mom… a stripper… I nearly fell off the couch laughing! SSNS bought me a tool box with my own tools a long time ago… might have been a wedding present. I am into tools like horses, cats and cars… I love them. Phillips screwdrivers are my favs.
I am so happy you made friends with Penelope♥

    1. Thank you. 🙂 Glad you got a laugh. Mom knows what a Phillips screwdriver is she just tends to grab the closest available. 🙂 XO

  12. MY mom said her ears have been pierced thru with high pitched girl squeals and screams. She doesn’t know how they can get that high pitched. BUT you made it through Rosie and I laughed at the stripper pawty for your dad. Hope the stripper was the not-to-aromatic kind. And how nice that you made friends with Penelope. Maybe if I try again today to subscribe it will take hold. Let’s see.

  13. I’m sure Penelope has forgotten all about that. 😀 All our kitties would hide if a single child showed up, I think. Well, Terra would. Polly might come out after a bit and Dandelion might not hide at all. Let’s hope we don’t have to find out because those noisy little humans make me want to hide. lol Thanks for the giggles and be well, my dear.

  14. That was a fun report sweet Rosie and I’m still giggling at the butt napkins!

  15. You made me laugh, Rosie. That’s a cute sign too. So glad you’re getting along with Penelope and Friday is a great assistant. Thanks for the update.

  16. Rosie, that is cool to have a new friend in Penelope. I’m glad you were able to get together. I have missed everyone and am happy to be here. Have a wonderful rest of the week and keep telling your stories.

  17. We are on your Mom’s side Sometimes those screws are impossible to unscrew no matter which screwdriver you use. They make screws way too cheaply these days.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  18. Oh Rosie, our twofeet auntie is still noisy too and she’s 12 years now…twofeet uncles too…so you better be prepurred🙉Extra Pawkisses for all of you🐾😽💞
