Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone. Before Rosie doers her post, we want to give our condolences to Summer and her human on the loss of Peach Kitty. To visit, click here.

Hi everyone! I am sitting on Grammie’s chair in the kitchen. I like to get my white furs all over her chair because it annoys her.

I know you are all eager to know how Brody’s echocardiogram went. The good news is no changes from last year. Once again, she said he could have a dental. There is some risk, but the benefits outweigh them because he needs extractions. The plan is to up his potassium dose and recheck levels in a month. If they improve then the dental will happen. They have improved since last year but are still a bit lower than normal.

Tomorrow is the day that the vet is coming here to see 6 of us. Apparently, we are illegals and mom wants to fix that. Six of us are overdue for rabies shots. I know we don’t go outside, but my mom likes to be a law-abiding citizen. I wish I could get a video of her trying to catch Tuffy. It is sure to be a hoot.

Mom is getting mad that the painter has not come yet. He knew she was eager to get this project done, but he had bigger jobs to do first. I am glad he hasn’t come yet because it means the kids haven’t been here. She still sees them at their house, and I still have peace and quiet. Although, The Slime Dancer (formerly known as Typhoid Mary) is going into withdrawals from not getting to make slime.

Mom brought some dvd’s to their house to show The Boy her dad in some from their mom’s birthday parties when she was little. The Boy keeps asking if Uncle David is her daddy. Mom thinks it is hilarious, Dad, not so much.

I am sure I will have a lot to tell next week about the home vet.

  1. I know you’re happy to have a home vet now – it’s not easy hauling that crew of yours to the vet when they need care. YAY! Too bad the painter is keeping the new “play area” from going forward. We were sad to learn about the Peach Kitty going to the Bridge. We know he wasn’t well so the good thing is he’s not uncomfortable any longer but able to fly around in a much more PEACEFUL place!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

  2. Dear brody, I’m sorry you have to have some teeth taken care of. I’m a lucky girl and mine seem to be doing very well. We guess that painter must be doing a barn somewhere if he can’t get to your house to do a room!
