- Small Town Girls: A Writer’s Memoir by Jayne Anne Phillips is about the author’s hometown in West Virginia. I am only a couple chapters in, but I like it.
- Famesick by Lena Dunham is OK. Apparently, she wrote and was in a show called Girls. A bit too crude for my taste and some of this memoir is too, but the parts about her chronic illness are interesting.
- Carless People: A Cautionary Tale of Power, Greed and Lost Idealism by Sarah Wynn-Williams. I have only read a few chapters, but I am not liking Facebook or Mark Zuckenberg.
Rosie will be here tomorrow with all the latest including the results of Brody’s echocardiogram.
Interesting books that you are reading, but sorry that you don’t care for them all. When I start reading anything I do not care for, I go on to something different, because I don’t need to ‘torture’ myself that way.
FB and other social platforms can be quite nasty at times.

Interesting books. Since I don’t do Facebook I don’t really care about the person who invented it. It’s one of those things that I think should not have been invented. Precious can’t wait to hear about brody.
Rosie is doing double duty, and deserves lots of treats. I downloaded a new book to my Kindle An A-Z of Just Being by Maria Sakar. I haven’t been able to read much of it yet, but the first chapter The Bane of Being Busy caught my attention. Busyness can come at a cost if not channeled in the right direction.

I gave up the Book of Face a long time ago. Gave up Zuckerberg along with it. I have slowed down reading again for a bit because of dry eyes. I still enjoy your reviews of the books on Mondays.
