Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone! I am so tired.

I didn’t have to hide from kids this past week, but I spent a lot of time avoiding my mom so she wouldn’t dress me up like a pirate.

Then, I heard her talking to Dad and Grammie about waiting for some Stanley to arrive. She was excited and couldn’t wait for Stanley to get here so I thought I was going to have another brother.

Well, this is my first official photo with Stanley.

Mom doesn’t usually follow fads, but she wanted the girls to think she is cool- sorry mom, it is going to take more than this. Although she brought it to The Boy’s flag football game and the girls noticed it right away. It was on sale for only $17, my mom is a cheapo (not as bad as Dad though) and would not pay full price, unless it was something the girls wanted.

Everyone has been behaving so I don’t have any news to report on my siblings.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

  1. You look marvelous, Rosie, even though you’ve been so busy this week avoiding pirate costumes! Well, all good behavior means a good report, right?! XO

  2. Rosie we just never know what our moms have on their mind. Humans are funny that way. We’re glad you had a quiet weekend and didn’t have anybody to brush your first except for Mommy.

  3. Staying hidden is a hard job. Kids can find the impossible sometimes and moms with dress-up ideas on the brain. Just a warning, you will eventually get caught by her. lol

  4. Hiding can be hard work, although you’d make an excellent pirate, if I may say so.

I’m glad your mom got the Stanley cup, but tell her not to worry about being cool. She simply is, but it’s because she does the things the children won’t appreciate until they are older, such as working to make sure they remember their grandmother. That makes her cool. It’s all about the love.

  5. You rest up. Sometimes no news is the best news.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to your mom. ♥

  8. You are a sweet♥, Rosie! The fact that your sibs have all been good is a great thing. I should have talked to your Mom last month when I was looking for a water bottle. I wanted to get rid of the plastic bottles I have been drinking out of… mostly Walmart bottled water. I found a glass bottle but it was all too much trouble. I just went back to Walmart bottled water. I have almost made it to 74 drinking out of plastic bottled water and I am still alive! I had no idea that certain water bottles were a trend with the younger kids. I guess I am just an old gal with no trendy thinking… Ha!

  9. Chaplin: “Hmm, we thought maybe Stanley was going to be Dennis’s old frenemy Flat Stanley, but it looks more like our Dada’s orange Yeti cup.”
Charlee: “Which doesn’t look anything like a Yeti because it hasn’t got lots of white fur or big feet. Human naming conventions are weird.”

  10. The ‘new guy’ looks great and at the sale price, REALLY great. Kudos to your mom for finding that good looking and cool bargain.
