Mewsic Monday

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Mewsic Moves Me (hosted by Curious as a Cathy,Xmas Dolly, JAmerican Spice and Stacy Uncorked.) The mewsic theme for the entire month of December is Christmas music so we will be participating every week.

This week, I have some of my favorite singers and their Christmas songs. One is not famous, but she sure should be. If you follow Dezi’s World, you already know their mom has an amazing voice. If not, here is her version of Silent Night.

Next up is Frank Sinatra- I’ll Be Home for Christmas

Rob Thomas- New York Christmas

Amy Grant- Grown Up Christmas List-

Joanie traded in her tutu for a nurse uniform. Hubby and I both have colds thanks to The Great One. I gave her some honey cold medicine the other day and she said she liked it because it is bee flavored 🙂 Kids say the cutest things.

  1. Hi furiends and poor sick Humans: We hope you are all cozy and warm and recuperating! Such nice music–the Human’s a sucker for Christmas songs. The Sinatra one reminds her of her childhood in the 1950’s–the Human’s mom used to listen to it and cry and cry cause she said it was such a sad song during the war. Humans! I say, if something makes you cry, why do you listen to it? I’ll never really get them.

  2. Christmas music is on ALL THE TIME here these days…..Mom likes the “oldies” for the most part and she gets weepy with a couple of them but she says it’s a “good weepy” (whatever THAT means!). Sorry you have Christmas colds – tell THE GREAT ONE you appreciate her spirit of giving but giving colds is not such a great gift!

    Hugs, Teddy

  3. Ellen,

Sorry to hear you and the hubs are sick. Hopefully, your little nurse will get y’all better soon. 🙂 Thanks for sharing some beautiful Christmas mewsic. I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas. Have a joyful blessed holiday, my friend! XO

  4. I’m sorry you and your husband got cold. Joanie is adorable in nurse outfit. I bet she takes very good care of you 🙂 Get well soon xo

  5. I hope you and hubby get well soon. I hate being sick, especially this time of year.

We love to listen to Miss Audra sing. She had a most beautiful voice and two wonderful kitties.

Nurse Joanie is adorable and she’ll take good care of the two of you.

Have a purrfect Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  6. We enjoyed all your songs very much. Tis the season for holiday tunes:)

We are sure that Nurse Joanie will be working hard to get her Mom and Dad feeling much better.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  7. Kitty colds can be pretty rugged. It’s not cold enough where we are to worry about colds unless our cats are exposed to a sick cat with a cold, which is unlkely because all their time outdoors is spent in their fully enclosed garden, Effieland. No cats except Effie and Paladin can get in.

  8. I am so glad you shared the song sung by Dezi’s mom. Her voice is lovely! And Frank Sinatra’s “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” is one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs. I’ll be singing it all day now, and I’m totally fine with that.

  9. I always enjoy Christmas music. And the song Grown Up Christmas List always gets to me. It is so heartwarming. I hope you feel better soon!

  10. Awww, Joanie looks like a sweet nurse, i’ll bet purring helps you feel better. “Bee flavored”! That is too cute, and i hope you feel better soon.

  11. She sure does have an amazing voice. And you can’t go wrong with Frankie, at least in my family. Joanie is adorable and pretty funny. Bee flavored, hahaha. Hope everyone gets healthy in time for Christmas.

  12. Dezi’s Mom has an awesome voice… beautiful! I had a crush on Frank Sinatra when I was much younger, still love his voice and songs. Hope you and your Hubby are feeling much better. I am sure Joanie has been doing a great job!

    1. I love Sinatra, I am sure I would have had a crush on him too. 🙂 We are feeling better. Thank you. XO
