It’s Monday! What Are YOU Reading?

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Book Date’s It’s Monday What are YOU Reading?

Friday is posing with two of the books I am currently reading.

Selma Blair’s memoir, Mean Baby is interesting so far. I am still reading about her childhood as the youngest of 4 sisters.

And I Guess I Haven’t Learned That Yet by Shauna Niequist is a Christian self-help book. The main point is when you find yourself stuck in life and old ways don’t get you through, you need to find new ones. Such a simple idea, but so few actually do that.

Looks like Rosie will be here tomorrow because whenever there is a Monday holiday, Penny takes hers on a Tuesday. She has been gathering all the gossip of the house for you.

  1. Ooh, we could use some good gossip from Rosie! And mama is still in love with Inspector Poirot, but some of her favorite book are Fresh Water for Flowers,My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry, The Paris Library, The Boy in the Field, A Manual for Cleaning Women, Normal People, Circe, Let the Great World Spin….

  2. Oh boy! Gossip? I hope Rosie has some goodies to share (tee hee). In your house with all the kitties I’m SURE there’s some great gossip available. Hope your Daddy’s Day was fabulous.

    Hugs, Teddy

  3. Books…hmmmm…I don’t read really, but I do hear some good passages from books when the housekeeper comes across them! From Last Bus to Wisdom by Ivan Doig, young boy describes the pointed spires of churches as “poking holes in a clouded sky.” I thought that was pretty good. I do pose with books, but you’ll have to see that on my FB page 🙂

  4. Two good books and the last one everyone should read.

I’ll be here tomorrow for tips from Rosie.

Have a fabulous day and week, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥
