It’s Monday! What Are YOU Reading?

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Book Date’s It’s Monday What are YOU Reading?

Trouble is posing with 2 of the library books that I am reading. It is so nice to have library books again.

Listen, Love, Repeat: Other-Centered Living in a Self-Centered World by Karen Ehman is a Christian book about thinking of others. It is a perfect book for what the world is going through right now. It is a great reminder to be kind to those closest to us and everyone we have contact with.

Model Patient by Karen Duffy came out in 2000, apparently I had my head in a litter box because I had never heard of her until I read this memoir. I am sure the more alert among us remember her on MTV.  I really enjoyed this book and was surprised to read that Harvey Weinstein saved her life by finding her a top neurologist. He must have been really good because she is still alive.

I am still enjoying Kindle Unlimited and have discovered another mystery series with cats, this one is written more for kids, but I am a kid at heart or as my great-niece says, a giant child 🙂 The Buckley and Bogey Cat Detective Caper Series by Cindy Vincent has 5 in the collection.  I am on book 4 and loving it as I have the other 3. If you have Kindle Unlimited you can read them all for free.

Penny is working hard on her tips for tomorrow.

  1. So many of the books aimed at children are a good read for adults too.

  2. Trouble, you are looking good 😉
Mum is a big reader too.
Julie like when mum reads as she curls up in mum’s lap 😉

  4. Books sound like great reads. I just started this paperback book called The Complete Series of The Virtue And Valor Series. It’s a very good read and the book is by Hallee Bridgeman. Hope you check it out. It’s a Christian book and how Woman helped by joining this special team to end the war. I loved reading. Recommend it highly.

  7. I don’t think my first comment went through this morning, the power went off just as I pressed send. Trouble is so cute:) I really enjoy reading in the summer. It’s nice to relax with a book, especially this week because it’s so hot. Have a great day!

  8. Those sound like some good reads. Mom isn’t reading anything right now other than the morning paper – her human paws are full caring for Misty and making sure she stays quiet and we stay away from her staples:)

  9. It’s nice to see Trouble posing with your books! Such a gorgeous kitty. I don’t read books except the few I have on my Kindle. I mostly read blogs.

  10. I had never heard of Karen Duffy before now, and I don’t even have a cat, so I don’t know what my excuse is!

  11. You’re a purrfect model, Trouble! And these sound like such inspiring reads. I’m like you and also often enjoy reading books aimed for kids. They have a sort of fun and innocence that books for adults lack. Purrs!

  12. Well, here is is Thursday and I’ve not made my rounds (again). My reads this summer are primarily novels by John Grisham, Michael Connelly and David Baldacci. I guess you could say I like crime drama novels! xoxo
