Friendly Fill-Ins Week 535

Hi everyone. Before the fill-ins, I have a Brody update as promised. The vet called me 5 minutes after I got home from dropping him off to tell me his potassium was too low today. She upped his potassium supplement again and we will try again on 9/22. I was surprised it was low because he was off his  meds for a few days and I assumed they were what made his potassium low.

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. Everybody loves Bluey. She is a cartoon dog and the only show all 3 kids will agree on.
2. If someone new entered my home, they would immediately know it belongs to the cats, we just work here.
3. I thinkmy blog  should instead be named 11 and Meowing now that we have 11 cats. It doesn’t have the same ring to it though.
4. The Bluey ice cream bar was so bad I couldn’t finish it. I bought a box for the kids and decided to try one-yuck, very tart. I am surprised The Boy liked them. The girls opted for Klondike bars instead.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi. It is also Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. All my angels are loved and missed. Penny is our newest angel, as you know she left us in May of this year.

  2. Sorry about Brody not being able to have his teeth dealt with. What a bummer.
    1. Everybody loves ice cream where I work.
    2. If someone new entered my home, they would immediately know that we have dogs and if you took stock, you would think we own a doggy pet shop, LOL!
    3. I sometimes think Dalton should instead be named Barkton…as he will bark constantly at hubby when I am at work or running errands. This is a new thing, and quite annoying.
    4.Some ‘modern’ classical music Iwas listening to was so bad to my ears that I couldn’t finish listening to it, and changed the station to another one.

  3. Penny was certainly a sweetheart. Precious thinks that Brody got a reprieve. But we humans know that if he needs his teeth worked on it should be done as soon as possible.

  4. Sweet pic of Angel Penny, and I’m sorry Brody can’t get his teeth dealt with. I agree that 15 and meowing has a better ring to it than 11 and meowing.

  6. When you are not around kids you don’t know what the “current” favored character is. I think I heard of Bluey but didn’t know it was a dog.

  9. 1. Everybody loves our peaceful home. We don’t allow conflict here.
    2. If someone new entered my home, they would immediately know is cats live here. There are toys, cat beds, scratchers and cats. It’s the way we like it.
    3. I think my blog should instead be named Meme Central.
    4. Most of the food at a local diner was so bad I couldn’t finish it. My brother and sister-in-law loves the place. We finally told them we wanted to go elsewhere for our monthly lunch. We’re all happy now.

    Poor Brody. He’ll get those levels up and all will be well.

  10. I am sorry Brody did not get his dental but “happy dance” happy that he isn’t like us peeps and was dreading the whole thing and then it didn’t get done and now has to dread it until September. Kitties are lucky that way… they don’t worry about stuff because they have no idea what the heck is going on. They live in the present. I am struggling with the Fill-Ins today. Penny is missed♥ Miss them all♥ Fifteen and Meowing just rolls off the tongue better.

  11. We are rooting for Brody and his new clean teeth. Sometimes kitties feel better after a tooth cleaning and sometimes needing a tooth cleaning makes them feel punk…

  17. Sorry Brody couldn’t have his dental again. Ernie always had low potassium despite supplementing it. Eventually, we figured it was just his normal but we continued to supplement it.

  26. Halia was really into Bluey for a while, now she’s moved on. Because, as she said, “she’s a big girl” now. LOL
    What a lovely remembrance photo. With all the deaths reported this week, I just couldn’t add Elsa to my remembrance page. Just too raw.
