Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1.My plans for August include more time with the kids and getting that room painted even if I have to go with a different painter. And August 1st, The Great One and I have a booth at a fundraiser for a local cat shelter where we will be selling our book and Typhoid Mary will be selling her homemade slime.
2. I am a type B personality. I am non-competitive and fairly laid back.
           3. If cat poop were a currency, I would be rich.
          4. I can do a good impersonation of Elmo from Sesame Street. The kids say I sound like Elmo when I do the                 doll voices.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is of Angel Elvira back in July 2023. I wish I had more time with her, but now she is with her daddy Kiril in Heaven.

  3. Ellen, so much news and interesting things in this post plus your Fill-Ins! I remember Kiril’s sisters flying with Friday and Elvira to come live with the Meowing Crew. The sisters picture is still on my PayPal. So thankful you took the kitties in. Tickled you will be selling your book… and slime… at the fundraiser. I think I have mentioned before that I think it is sweet that you sound like Elmo!

    1.My plans for August include staying out of the heat and “air that you can wear” in Florida and keeping my fingers crossed for no scary or damaging hurricanes.
    2. I am a quirky type personality.        
    3. If yellow Paper Mate plastic mechanical pencils were a currency, I would be rich.         
    4. I can do a good impersonation of a turtle hiding in its shell.

    Angel Elvira was grateful that she was cherished in the short time between losing her human, living with you, and earning her angels wings.

    2 . Not sure what my personality is. It was very strong for work…mellowed considerably since retirement.
    3. If Love was a currency, I would be rich.
    4. I can NOT do a good impression of anything. Sigh.

    I hope your booth does well for the cat shelter you are fundraising for. Slime seems to be TM’s specialty right now, teehee!
    I sure hope your designated craft room gets the paint job done ASAP!

    1.My plans for August include working on 4 thursdays and celebrating younger son’s birthday, and making sure my sister is doing OK after her cataract surgery in a couple weeks..
    2. I am a type A, personality. At least I think I am, I tend to worry about getting everything done properly, and on time, but I do not think I am competitive.
    3. If dog fur-bunnies were a currency, I would be rich.
    4. I can do a good impersonation of nothing much, LOL…though sometimes people say when I giggle I can sound like a cackling chicken.YIKES!

    I’ve found if a tradesperson doesn’t come and eventually even stops giving excuses, it’s because s/he doesn’t really want the business. It’s often best to move on.

    Angel Elvira was a beauty, I’m so glad you stepped in and made her feel loved when Mr. Kiril was gone. Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 We only sold 1 book and 1 container of slime, but we had fun and it was for a good cause. Good point about the painter, but he is my neighbor so I have to wait it out. Thank you. I was blessed to get to be her mom for 2 years. XO
