Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.
1. My plans for June include attending Typhoid Mary’s 8th birthday party and seeing The Great One as Annie in her school play.
2. Going alone the first time I ever went in a plane is the bravest thing I have ever done. I was 19 and went to Florida to visit someone.
3. I swear by doing a math problem in your head as a cure for the hiccups. Works every time.
4. As if the price of gas wasn’t bad enough, the price of almond flour has also skyrocketed. My hubby tried to eat a no carb diet and I make him special chocolate chip cookies with almond flour. In the past 2 years, the cost has risen from $9.44 to $13.44 for a 2 pound bag.
My answers:
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.

Nice picture of Angel Penny and good fill-ins, Ellen. XO
Thank you. XO
1. My plans for June include enjoying the days of Benji and Hubby’s birthdays and being all together as a family for Father’s Day
2.Getting in and soaring around my mother’s hometown in a glider airplane is the bravest thing I have ever done. (It was sort of a challenge by my uncle…)
3. I swear by Having a good belly laugh as a cure for boredom and bad moods. (Works so often with the people I take care of, followed by a good hug!)
4. As if getting older ourselves wasn’t bad enough, now we are seeing so many of our peers becoming frail, having dementia issues and dying…but we just are feeling blessed by each new day and year added…
Thank you for these great answers. Your plans for June sound nice. I agree with your cure. XO
Anther brave thing I did in my early twenties was to head out all alone, 2000 miles away from home to my first job…no one to pick me up at the airport…no one to welcome me when I got to where I was going to stay…except they did show me where my room was and gave me the key…and showed me how to get through the (spooky) tunnel to my job the next day. I lasted about 18 months there. Compared to 9 years at the next job, about 100 miles from home! At that point I got brave again, leaving my Canadian home and family to come to the USA , to marry my hubby of now almost 39 years.
Both of those were very brave. XO
Love that idea for getting rid of hiccups – I’ll give that a try. I usually just wait for it to be over with – holding my breath doesn’t work. Sure is tiring having them though! The cost for almond flour is ridiculous just as price of most things is ridiculous these days. Sad but true. Thanks for the fill-in fun on Fridays. We enjoy it a LOT!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Thank you. It is sad that it costs so much to eat healthier. I always enjoy your fill-in answers. XO
I have fun three times in my life. But it’s always been with someone I know. I do not like it and I will never fly again. Angel Penny is such a sweetie.
I don’t like it either and have no plans to fly either. XO
That’s a sweet pic of Angel Penny.
My plans for June is to celebrate my birthday on the 17th.
The bravest thing I ever did was ride in a blimp
I swear by exercise to keep myself fit
As if the price of gas isn’t enough, grocery prices are out of sight.
Thank you. I hope you have a great b’day- celebrate all month. XO
I loved the fill-ins. I always do. If I didn’t have an eye Dr. appt. this morning early I would fill in. But I did want to say for me, a never fail…no kidding, hiccup ender is…swallow whatever saliva you have in your mouth as the hiccup is on its way up! Timing is everything. Every time. Mouth closed. Sometimes there is scarcely anything in your mouth to swallow with, but even an eency amount will help. Only takes me maybe 4 swallows. If another hiccup comes up, I ‘d it again, and that really does the trick.
Thank you. I will try that. XO
Wow! Typhoid Mary is 8? Time flies!
Yes, it sure does.
Prices for everything seems ridiculous. A pound of hamburger here is $10! That floors me. Eggs however have dropped to two to three bucks. Lots of birthdays in June. Sweet picture of sweet Angel Penny❤️ TM is going to be 8?! Where has the time gone.
My Fill-Ins~
1. My plans for June include Jerry’s 75th birthday and making it through the month with no hurricanes.
2. Working at a Hallmark Cards and Gift store when Beanie Babies were all the rage is the bravest thing I have ever done. I had a woman climb over the counter and grab one out of my hand!!!
3. I swear by homemade noodles as a cure for anything that ails you.
4. As if the heat wasn’t bad enough, we are still in drought. Our rainy season seems to have lost its way. We ARE having a wonderfully less hot day today and maybe tomorrow.
Take it easy, Meowing Crew! Enjoy today and your weekend 🌞
Thank you. I know, time goes quicker every year. Thank you for these great answers. Happy Birthday to Jerry! That does sound scary about the lady at Hallmark. I hope you have a hurricane free year. XO

Hahahaha!
It works. 🙂
Such a sweet picture of Angel Penny.
My answer for #2 involved Florida too. Mine was moving there and I wasn’t alone – just me, hubby, and three kitties.
Thank you. That was brave too- even braver than mine. XO
1. My plans for June include enjoy life with my precious husband and our wonderful kitties.
2. Spending 25 years in law enforcement is the bravest thing I have ever done.
3. I swear by keeping active as a cure for living longer.
4. As if rudeness wasn’t bad enough, add politics and it’s even ruder.
Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-Ins.

Cute photo of Angel Penny. Great answers.
Thank you. XO
Ouch on the almond flour! We miss you Penny, but I’m sure you’re surrounded by loved ones. Hugs, Ellen. Take care.
Thank you. Yes, I believe she is. XO
I’d never thought of doing a math problem in your head as a hiccup cure, but it would probably distract you enough to interrupt the spasm.
Good luck to your “Annie” and best birthday wishes to Typhoid Mary.
Angel Penny is beautiful, thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.
It does. Thank you from TGO and TM. XO
Our Mom, who was a math teacher, says that hiccup remedy is a new one on her, but if it works, she will give it a try:). The price of everything keeps going up, milk here at one store went up $.50 /hallon last week – crazy!!!
Timber says thank you for the birthday wishes.
Woos – Misty and Timber
Definitely try it- it works. XO
Angel Penny is so cute today! Pawesome fill-ins, and thanks for the hiccup fix, and OMC the cost of groceries here too is climbing by the week, it’s a joke!!! Happy Caturday to mew all, and we hope your weekend is epic! 😻🐾😻🐾😻
Thankyou. 🙂 I hope you have a nice weekend too. XO
Angel Penny is so cute. Nice puzzle. I miss seeing her on here. .. Wow that flour is expensive. Glad you found something that works well though. 🙂
Thankyou. 🙂 XO
Java Bean: “Ayyy, wow, those are expensive cookies with flour that costs so much! But I bet they are delicious!”
Charlee: “Our Mama used to get hiccups a lot! Dada says she would get them in the dining hall in college and be all embarrassed, but he thought it was cute.”
Chaplin: “Of course he did.”
That is a cute story. 🙂
We always liked to see the mewsicals at the end of a school year. The Great One will make a great Annie, she’s so talented😻The prices in our Country are rising high sky too, and you get less for more💰Focussing on something else when you have hiccups, is an excellent tip. Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you🐾😽💞
Thank you. I can’t wait to see her as Annie. XO
