Friendly Fill-Ins Week 516

Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. If I had to choose a fictional world to live in it would be _______________________.
2. _________________________ is a book or movie that changed my life.
3. As a kid, I gave _________ the name _________.
4. If I had a parrot, I would teach it to say _________.
My answers:
1. If I had to choose a fictional world to live in it would be Whoville. I would love to meet The Grinch and those Whoville houses are adorable.
2. The Only Little Prayer You Need: The Shortest Route to a Life of Joy, Abundance, and Peace of Mind by Debra Landwehr Engleis a book or movie that changed my life.
3. As a kid, I gave my sister the name Pop Pop. Her name was Vanessa so not sure how I came up with that.
4. If I had a parrot, I would teach it to say nothing because I would never have a pet bird because I am very superstitious and birds in the house are bad luck.
Today is O day on The A-Z Blogging Challenge . O is for orange cats and we have a lot of orange going on in this house with Rusty, Rudy and Tuffy.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is from April 2016. Angel Prancie, our first orange kitty.

  1. Those are alot of really gorgeous orange kitties! Black Beauty is a book that changed my life because it showed me that literature could be protest, as well as advocacy for animals. XO

  3. Wonderful educational fill-ins. We didn’t know about the bird thing but mama wouldn’t have a bird in the house anyway unless it flew in when the door to the patio is open, haha. I would have taken care of that, for sure! Unless it was one of those #$@$!!! seagulls…no way would I go near one of THOSE.

  4. Great fill-ins and wonderful photos of the orange kids who were lucky enough to have a home with you! We are partial to the orange color too!! I would never ASK for birds as pets but years and years ago I was given a pair of little finches – they were sweet and sang all the time but I just didn’t get the same FUN with them as I did with my cats. I found a good home for them though eventually.

    Hugs, Pam

  5. Funny the nicknames we come up with for our brothers and sisters when we are children. My brother’s name was David, and I called him Bubby. Angel Prancie does not look like she wanted her photo taken that day!

  6. Great pics of the orange kitties, and a sweet pic of Angel Prancie. I wouldn’t have a bird in the house, because I don’t feel birds should be caged.

  7. That is interesting about the birds. When Mom was a kid, her maternal grandmother always had a bird. The book sounds like a good one. One can never have too many ginger cats! XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid & Sawyer, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Kizmet, Audrey, Raleigh, Gibbs & Tali

  8. Gosh, I think the fill-ins are such FUN! Doing them and reading them.
I have answers but no one would be interested in them today, I don’t think; so I’ll spare ya!
    xo

  9. Love your answers. I’ve not had my coffee yet and my mind isn’t working, so I can’t think of what to do with the fill-ins this morning.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-Ins.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties and a big hug to you. ♥

  10. Have always thought that Celestial Paddy O’ had lots of ginger in him; he was so goofy!
Maybe one day, a ginger will choose us for their furrever home.

  11. Oona: “Oona is pleased that you have arrived at the Os. Oona’s brother Odin is an orange cat. He lives with one of Dada’s cousins. So as you can see, Oona has many Os going on.”
Chaplin: “Our Dada says he would like to live in Hobbiton, but not while the War of the Ring was going on or while Saruman was slumming there.”

  12. Prancie🧡 The Orange Boys are great kitties for O! Rusty, Rudy, Tuffy and Prancie are so sweet even if Rusty is a bit of a hooligan 🧡 Angel Prancie is so missed. Sweet Orange photos today.
Pop Pop is a cute name.
My Fill-Ins today… I struggled with these and then just like that they just came to me~
    1. If I had to choose a fictional world to live in it would be Family Circus comic strip.
    2. _________________________ is a book or movie that changed my life. I can’t think of a book or movie that changed my life. Friends have changed my life my sure.
    3. As a kid, I (we) gave nuns the name zeros.
    4. If I had a parrot, I would teach it to say “I’m gonna get you!” Our Green-cheeked conure.. Bud.. picked that up after we always told him we were going to get him and then we would scoop him up and snorgle his little tummy. Same for a cockatiel we had.
    Happy Friday, Meowing Crew!

    1. Thank you. He is a hooligan, but a sweet one. Thanks for these great answers. Did the nuns know? 🙂 I hope my bird fears didn’t offend you. XO

  13. it bee orange a pree she aye shunz day guyz…that meenz orange ruffie for dinner 🐟🐟🐟🧡🧡🧡
tell dad ta get de grill fired up….N yur mom iz rite…noe burd joke thiz time….burd in de houz iz VEREE BAD🙀☠️☠️☠️

  14. Wild birds in the house are bad luck in they will poop all over. A pet bird is a different matter, I think, but to each her own.

Your orange cats are a delight, thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.

  15. Great fill ins and the orange kitties are all awwdorable. Angel Prancie was an angel too💗Granny had 15 birdies and she lived good and happy with the birds. She was still young then, now she doesn’t want to have birds anymore, a bird has to be free, so here no more caged animals. So that’s good luck for the birdies, isn’t it😹Double Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend to all of you🐾😘💞

  16. It is Saturday, but here are my fill ins for Friday, LOL!

    1. If I had to choose a fictional world to live in it would be I cannot think of any…perhaps Narnia…that seemed like a good place with Aslan to be with me….
    2. The Bibleis a book or movie that changes my life. every day!
    3. As a kid, I gave my sister the name Ghaata, because I couldn’t say her ful (Dutch) name, Agatha, because it sounds very differetn in Dutch than in English.
    4. If I had a parrot, I would teach it to say stop barking or Stop Whining, to my pups. (Teehee!)
