Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. I’ll be home for Christmas. I would never leave the kitties alone on a holiday.
2. I am eager to see Typhoid Mary open her gift. Actually, I saw her open it at our party and she loves it.

 

3. ‘Twas the night before Christmas and I will be reading a book. For over 20 years, we had our annual party Christmas Eve, but now that we do it a week before, I am embracing the Icelandic tradition of Jolabokaflod, which is the gift of a book for Christmas Eve and reading it. Luckily, a friend sent me 2 books I am eager to get into.
4. I go shopping the day after Christmas. I love a bargain, so I shop on the 26th for half off Christmas stuff.

  3. Good fill-ins and yes, a good book is a cure for anything…especially over-wrought Christma holidays and mama has just found out that the baby was actually born in September!!!!!!! Well, they had to pick a date, right. Now she’s looking frankincense and myrrh….

  6. You are brave to go shopping on the 26th! I hate crowds so have never gone to the sales right after Christmas. That is a sweet flashback with Angel Prancie.

  16. Your fill-ins are so festive and fantastic! I’m like you and love being home on holidays, in no small part because I want to be with my furbabies. And I love that you embrace the Icelandic tradition of gifting and reading books on Christmas Eve. I heard about this tradition a couple years ago and have been obsessed with the concept ever since.

    Prancie and Rudolph were the cutest little duo! Purrs!

  21. I’ve never left my cats on Christmas either. And last year I went shopping the day after for the very first time and that’s where I ended up with Covid!
