Friendly Fill-Ins week 369

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. Never underestimate _________________________.

2. ________________makes me _________________________.
3. I need to _________ so that I can _________.
4. I didn’t realize _________ until _________.

My answers:

1. Never underestimate youtube videos for learning how to do something. I recently was able to change the water in my snow globe by watching one.

2. Everything makes me itchy. Foods with msg, detergents, etc. I am itchy almost every day.

3. I need to get my hubby to finish decluttering so that I can be done with this project. I am sure you are sick of hearing me complain about this and I am sick of it too. 🙂

4. I didn’t realize how great cats are until I was married.

We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.

My flashback is from June 2017. My Angel Emmy modeling a hat.

  1. Awww, so cute of Angel Emmy … Good fill ins. I know about waiting for the husband to do stuff, lol … XO

    1. Sorry you are itchy too. Allegra helps most of the time, but sometimes I need Benadryl. XO

  2. YouTube has a lot of interesting videos for sure….my Mom found it really helpful when she had her hip replacement – there were tons of great exercise demonstrations that helped! I like to watch funny cat videos myself. We hope the decluttering you’ve worked so hard at will work to inspire your Dad to finish HIS part!!!

    Hugs, Teddy

  3. Emmy was such a sweetheart.

    1. Never underestimate the power of a good and genuine smile..

    2. Fuzzy and whiny peeps make me become impatient…esp at my work. (Even worse when it it staff, LOL!)
    3. I need to find the time of a not so hot day so that I can do some yard projects…
    4. I didn’t realize the same as you about cats…never had one till we were married, either. (Though we love the pups as pets, too. Sometimes I wish dogs would purr, LOL!)

    1. Thank you. Yes, she was. And thank you for these great answers. I try to avoid whiny people, but it is impossible when you work with them. 🙂 How odd it took us so long to find cats. XO

  4. That is a sweet flashback. My hubby swears by You Tube. If he needs to know how to do something he always looks there.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 My hubby likes me to find videos for him too on planting stuff. XO

  5. My allergies or anything that’s artificial perfume. So you can imagine I can’t even go into a store or a church or walk down the street without a whiff of perfume. I love the picture of Angel Emmy.

  6. Angel Emmy could certainly wear a hat… adorable! You Tube videos are a great source for help in doing things. So happy you found out how wonderfully special cats are!

    Thanks, Ellen!

    1. Thank you. 🙂 I miss my Emmy. And thank you for these great answers. I have kept a journal for years. When I was decluttering, I almost tossed a bunch, but then I changed my mind. Summer makes me cranky too. XO

  7. I’m on the same page with you on #2. I get itchy too because I’m allergic to a lot of things. Sweet pic of Angel Emmy.

  8. 1. Never underestimate stupid people. There are so many.

  9. Sorry, but I need to find my thinking cap before I can fill in anything. And Dani must have hidden it where I would never look. However, Angel Emmy looks supurrb in her hat. It really suits her cute little self.

  12. Fantastic fill-ins, as always! I agree with your #1. I never thought I’d be someone who watched very many YouTube videos, but these days I actually watch videos on all sorts of topics. I also use YouTube as a free source of music. And I’m glad you came to realize how amazing kitties are, and I’m sure your lucky kitties are glad too! And what a beautiful girl Emmy was and always will be. Purrs!

    1. Thank you. I miss my Emmy. Thank you for doing the fill-ins, you did a great job. I am sorry your mum is under the weather. Yes, please be nice to the stray. XO

  14. Youtube can be a great resource. I’m so sorry you are itchy all the time. People don’t realize how irritating some dyes and perfumes can be.

Emmy was beautiful in the hat.

Thank you for joining Feline Friday!

  15. Well, vitamin D is supposed to help against itching. Also a bath up to your neck in olive oil but we haven’t done that yet, haha. Better on the salad. And listen up, hubby, you MUST MAKE WAY FOR NEW ACQUISITIONS!!! At least it’s a tempting idea, no? Make a space…something wonderful will fill it. I think you will like your surprises…..

    1. I will try the D, but not bathing in olive oil. I tried shaving my legs with coconut oil once and almost fell because it got slippery in the shower. XO

  16. What an adorable photo of your Angel Emmy. My dad says he agrees with you 120% on the video thing. Says he’s learned so many things that way.

  17. Sweet Emmy. Given that Norman recently departed, I wonder if you ever fully get over missing them. Hugs and tail wags. Hopefully the hubs will make some progress on the decluttering project. It can be a real challenge living with pack rats. Good luck.

    1. You never do get over losing them. Every one has taken a bit of my heart with them.
Hubby did get rid of a lot of fertilizer, paint and herbicides today at hazardous waste day in town. XO

  18. I understand about decluttering. My husband’s entire office and my mess on the dining room table are terrible. lol Emmy looked adorable in that hat. And thank you for the adorable toys! You’re the best (real and virtual) auntie ever. ~hugs~ Be well, my dear.

    1. Thank you. Glad they arrived safely. My hubby was afraid the envelope was too small. XO
