Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. The highlight of my summer so far has been the days I spent with The Great One and Typhoid Mary.
2. August is a good time to start planning for Halloween.
3. Adopting cats often gets me into trouble ( with my hubby). That is how Trouble got her name. I knew I was going to be in trouble when I first saw those pretty big eyes. Fortunately, he falls in love with the cats too.
4. I fall asleep every time I try to read lately.

  1. Adorable flashback. Great fill in answers. When I was in NY, a stray cat would periodically show up on my doorstep and I could never turn it away. Drove my hubby nuts. In Florida, that doesn’t happen. At least it doesn’t happen in my community. Have a great weekend!

  3. Oh, that falling asleep thingy seems to be catching…mama can’t get through two or three pages without going klunk. And it’s always on the page where the mystery is being solved, she says. Thank you for your book list. Vonnegut’s son is a marvel.

    I love all your fill-ins. Sometimes I fall asleep when I’m reading. Sometimes it’s a boring book and sometimes it’s because I’m tired.

  13. Fantastic fill-ins, as always! I almost put the same thing as you for #2. August really is a great time to start planning for Halloween. The stores have Halloween stuff out, and to be honest, I’m probably going to at least start decorating my house for Halloween this weekend. Also, I don’t blame you or your husband for falling in love with each and every one of your kitties. They’re all so precious!

    1. The highlight of my summer so far has been lots of outside grilling.
    2. August is a good time to get some serious clouds and a lot of rain.
    3. Watching peeps cooking on YouTube often gets me into trouble.
    4. I want to buy kitchen gadgets every time I watch those cooking shows.

  18. It is always a good thing to feature an angel cat. This way they still continue to be part of our lives. I hope the heat calms down where you live, so going out won’t be a bad thing.

  24. At least when you fall asleep while reading you can resume where you left off…but when I watch TV and fall asleep its over and on to the next show already. LOL!!

    I am late so I will pass on the fill ins this week…but yes, I too look forward to fall…

    2. August is a good time to sit on the lawn in the shade.
    3. Sleeping with TBT at night often gets me into trouble becausae I let my claws out when he moves.
    4. I eat all my food every time every time even when it is not my favorite.
