Friendly Fill-Ins Week 287

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. I find it easy to choose a gift for _________________.
2. I find it difficult to choose a gift for ___________.
3. Now that I’ve _________, I can _________.

4. I’m especially looking forward to _________ this holiday season.
My answers:
1. I find it easy to choose a gift for most people that I spend time with like my mom. hubby, The Great One, etc.
2. I find it difficult to choose a gift for someone I rarely see like my hubby’s cousins.
3. Now that I’ve completed cooking Thanksgiving dinner, I can work on the menu for our Christmas party on the 19th and the Christmas day menu.
4. I’m especially looking forward to our annual Christmas party this holiday season. We had to cancel last year because of COVID and this year we are doing an open house to space people apart, but at least we will see everyone.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

My flashback is from November 2016. Angel Prancie was checking out the turkey i made out of a lightbulb.

  3. Wonderful filling in this week AND great photos. An open house is a BIG undertaking but I know you will just love having friends and family stop by – no doubt lots of goodies to eat and lots of hugs going around. Wish we could be there!

  4. I am glad you will be able to have your Christmas party this year. We usually go away for Christmas as it is only the two of us but that was obviously cancelled last year. I have emailed to make sure people have to be vaccinated to stay there but hey are ignoring my emails. I am assuming that means the answer is no and I am not prepared to take that chance so we will be staying at home again this year.
This morning I got 6 of your posts including this one arrive together in my reader and it looks like I haven’t commented on them. I will try and get to the old ones later.
I think it is Feedly’s fault because occasionally it takes a few hours to enter my post.

    1. Sorry about all the emails, I wonder what happened. I am sorry you won’t get to go away. The place should have the courtesy to let you know either way. XO
