Friendly Fill-Ins Week 285

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. I have a __________ on my ___________________.
2. I wish I could speak fluent __________________.
3. I wonder what would happen if _________.
4. If I want _________, I’m going to have to _________.
My answers:
1. I have a birthmark on my neck.
2. I wish I could speak fluent Polish.
3. I wonder what would happen if I didn’t fill this one in? ( Sorry, I am drawing a blank).
4.If I want my kitchen and dining room ceilings painted soon, I’m going to have to do it myself.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

My flashback is from November 2019, right before  Angel Millie got his awful cutaneous lymphoma diagnosis.

  1. Angel Millie was such a handsome dude.

    1. I have a scar under my chin (from a childhood accident needing stitches…I still remember a lot off that event…it was so scary for a 4 year old..)
    2. I wish I could speak fluent Italian, I used to know a bit enough to have a small conversation, but its lost due to disuse. I should rather bone up on my Dutch, before I lose that too. Son #1 is trying to learn it via an app on his phone. The other day he showed me the weather report because I asked about something, and he had it set up in Dutch, LOL! I think he is practicing the immersion method:).
    3. I wonder what would happen if covid disappeared. A dream come true!
    4. If I want the kitchen faucet fixed, I’m going to have to do it myself…yeah, right…I guess I need to call the plumber. Lets not discuss the kitchen floor….argh:(

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I am sorry you got injured as a child though. I am impressed you knew Italian and Dutch. COVID disappearing would be nice. And funny you mentioned the faucet. We bought a new one over a year ago and I keep telling my hubby to just call a plumber, but he wants to do it and he is working on it right now- finally as the drip was getting bad. XO

  2. That is a sweet photo of Angel Millie. Ivor is very good on painting and DIY. The biggest problem is he has 3 or 4 different things going at the same time instead of finishing one first.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 My hubby is good too, but he gets obsessed with outdoor things and tires himself out. XO

  3. Millie looks so much like Elza…. Our white kitties are gorgeous and so special. But very fragile.

I agree with you on the speaking Polish! My husband wants to visit Poland (he’s actually been there before), but he wants me to speak the language perfectly so that we can communicate easily!

    Have a good weekend!

  4. Ellen below I have copied what I left at Teddy, Raz, Noelle and Reesie’s blog
for #2. When it is so rare that I can come up with fill ins until I see all the others.
Oh yes to be fluent in felinese would be magically. So many times Madi looked at me with a combo of amazement and disgust. I was never quite sure what I did but always thankful she forgave me.
    Hugs Cecilia

  5. Love your fill-ins. You better get busy with that painting.

Aw on Angel Millie. They are so missed when they leave us.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  7. Mom was surprised you didn’t select to pick speaking cat. Millie looks so gorgeous. Lymphoma is always a tough diagnosis. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet

  8. I relate to #4. I am STILL painting my kitchen. Between the awful heat making the paint separate and then 5 weeks of hairy aphids (tiny black flying insects that cover every surface and can fly through the screen) and then the rain, I’m still only 2/3s through painting the kitchen! Thanks for the flashback picture of Angel Millie.

  9. Oh My Goodness, I saw the white kitty and thought of my Hannah and Jake. They had been feeding a stray, white cat they named Ghost. Well Ghost has a mother who came to dinner too. Then two more feline friends. I told her ferals are usually not alone so they are hanging out at their back porch enjoying dinnertime and sleeping on that backporch too. Love the fill in answers. I often draw a blank. I think it is just part of living, being busy and all the rest of what we do in this nisy world. Always love visiting and saying hello. Have a wonderful weekend. HUGS

  10. Love all the goodness over here. I am late, late, late but had to post my shares. I love seeing your feline babies here and always hearing stories. The Angel Millie was so beautiful. I don’t see very many white cats in my neighborhood.but we do have lots of felines. Most of my neighbors keep them indoors and there is a naughty kitty across the street that will sneak out occasionally. But the girls who live there with their mom and dad catch her. She is a big black and white cat. She reminds me of the Cheshire cat in Alice in Wonderful haha.
P.S. The oldest girl Sloan has super long legs and that cat can’t outrun her anymore.

  11. I always say if you want anything done, and done right (and promptly), you have to do it yourself! I don’t think my neck could take painting ceilings though! 🙂
