Friendly Fill-Ins Week 271

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. I am contemplating ______________________________________.
2. My ______________ are ________________.
3. I can _________ in record time.
4. I miss the days when _________.
My answers:
1. I am contemplating binge watching the series Lost. My hubby and I need something to entertain us as we are all caught up on our usual shows.
2. My cats are indoor only. I know you all know that, but I can’t stress it enough how much safer it is for them.
3 I can shower in record time.
4. I miss the days when my niece lived here.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

My flashback is from August 2014, Angels Stinky and Phoebe were checking out the tent I made out of an old t-shirt.
To see them inside the tent click here.

  1. 1. I am contemplating enlarging our patio area, and adding a shed as well, right outside the back door, for easier access to the snowblower in the wintertime.
    2. My tomato plants are giving me a good harvest, even though they are in patio pots.
    3. I can not do much in record time…haha!! Trying to be fast with me usually ends up in troubles for me…
    4. I miss the days when our sons were here, and I really miss the times we were able to travel to see our Canadian side of the family. The border is partly open now, but there are too many restrictions to make it an easy trip, so I’ll just keep with the phone/FB and computer visits…sigh…

Those tents were a great idea!! Looks like your kitties enjoyed them!
Sorry that your niece moved further away, but that makes the visits of your grand nieces so much sweeter! I amglad they can still come to see you and have those marvelous play dates.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. Sounds like a good idea to add a shed near the back door. My hubby’s tomatoes do well in patio pots too and are a few weeks earlier than when planted in the garden. My niece actually lives in my town right now, I just miss when she actually lived here for her teens and early 20s . XO

  2. Great answers, and that is a wonderful use of an old t-shirt. Thanks for hosting!

  3. Love your fill-ins. I chuckled at you showering in record time.

I agree that you need to keep your kitty indoors too. Far safer.

Aw on the angels. Such a wonderful memory.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  4. Great Fill-ins. Mom has never watched Lost. Maybe she should put it on the list. Angels Stinky and Phoebe look like they are enjoying their tent.

    The Florida Furkids

ps – we keep commenting and hope you eventually see them

  5. #2 is so important and true. Angels Stinky and Phoebe♥
    My Fill-Ins
    1. I am contemplating making Pork Szechuan Sunday.
    2. My sleep times and awake times are all off.
    3. I can food shop in record time.
    4. I miss the days before the plague.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 And thank you for these great fill-in answers except I am sory your sleep and awake times are off. I cando that in record time too because I don’t enjoy it. XO

  6. It was really great seeing Angels Phoebe and Stinky playing in the tent. Yay!
Great fill ins and I have not binged since last year which was Bosch on Amazon. I like those English crime shows. There was another that I cannot think of at the moment that was better as it was a bit lighter where Bosch is kind of cerebral and dark. My head is a funny place. No Cheers reruns for this boy
    Purrs

    1. I just looked up Bosch and it looks good plus it is on Amazon Prime which we currently have so we are going to give it a try. Thanks for the tip. We like cerebral and dark like Prodigal Son. XO

  7. We watched Lost when it was originally on. We really liked it at first, but felt like it went downhill in time, and if I remember correctly, the way they ended it was disappointing. But you should still watch it, let me know what you think! 🙂

  8. Amen to #2. A very good friend just lost the new cat he adopted a couple months ago after getting hit by a car. He understands now the importance of keeping a cat inside and has sworn his new kitten will be indoor only.

  9. I can take a very speedy bath!
Our old plumbing let just a dribble of water into the bathtub, so I would turn on the taps then wander away for 10-15 minutes.
After the new plumbing, the water gushes out, and I can get a few inches of water and can bathe lickety split!
This is good during the hottest days, because I use cool water and it’s so refreshing.

  10. Pawsome answers!
Mum can be pretty fast in the shower as well.
I am allowed outside for a short time under supervision.
I only go as far as the grass so that I can enjoy eating some 😉
Mum is always watching and we live off the “beaten path”
I am a bit nervous and mum likes it that way.
    Purrs, Julie

  11. 1. I am contemplating the arrival of a 4th cat.
    2. My cats are pooping and peeing outside in the fine summer weather.
    3. I can make a stuffed omelet in record time.
    4. I miss the days when I watched a kitten grow up.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I am sure a 4th cat will work out fine with your crew. And I bet you are saving money on litter. 🙂 XO

  12. Granny says she remembers Lost, it’s a great serie. She’s watching The Outlander now and hopes that it never comes to an end😸Love the picture of Angels Stinky and Phoebe. That’s one great tent your mommie has made for you, sweet Angels💗Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend to the both of you🐾😽💞

  13. I love seeing them and maybe MAYBE I could make her a tent once things calm down around here. XX

  14. Such fantastic fill-ins, as always! I’d be really curious to know your thoughts on the show Lost once you’ve watched it all. I watched most of it way back when it was first airing. I really enjoyed it at the beginning, but started to lose interest towards the end. I wonder if it would be more enjoyable to binge watch it, though, since I watched it back in the days when you had to wait weeks and months and years to finish a show. Your answer to #2 is purrfect. And I like how you answered #3. I think I’m pretty fast at showering too. I never take baths, in part because I just don’t enjoy them and in even larger part because they just take too long. And I remember you mentioning when your niece lived with you. Was it when she went to college? I bet Joanie would love if your niece’s whole family lived with you now. Her favorite playmate would be there all the time! Purrs!

    1. Thank you. My niece lived here from age 14 – 23. She lived at college one semester then commuted. Same here with baths. 🙂 Joanie would love it if The Great One lived here, but the other cats would starve because they would always be hiding. XO

  15. Miss Ellen yore T-shirt tentss are furabuluss! Yore so tallented.
An ‘angelss’ Stinky an Phoebe were so cute two.

    LadyMew wantss to due Fill-innss:
    1) I am contemplating moving somewhere else!
    2) My nerves are utterly shattered living in Housing.
    3) I can call 911 in record time!
    4) I miss the days when my BFF Estalitta was alive & we would go out every day….(We were friends for 25 years…)
Thanks for letting me share all that!
    ((hugs)) Sherri-Ellen & ***purrss*** BellaDharma

    1. Thank you. They didn’t hold up very well though. Thank you to your mum for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except I am sory she doesn’t like where you live. It does sound like a stressful place. And I am sorry her friend is no longer with her. XO

  16. I so agree with you on the indoor cats. Love those answers. My sister adopted a few ferals in her day and most of them did not have the long quality of life as her indoors kitties did. My friend in Georgia had a cat who lived to be 25. My Boots liked to roam but I stopped him and he learned to love the indoors because he had a good life. I wish he would have lived longer. I miss him after all these years that he is gone. Take care xo

  17. I liked the fill-ins I wish I could shower in record time heheh!

My cats were always indoor cats too

    Have a tanfastic day
Hope this works I think I have fixed the commenting problem
