Friendly Fill-Ins Week 241

Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. I hope _________________never changes.
2. The luckiest I have ever been was _______________________.
3. I never thought I would _________, but I did.
4. I’m waiting for _________.
My answers:
1. I hope The Great One never changes. Of course, I want her to grow and learn, but I hope bad kids at school don’t rub off on her when she starts going.
2. The luckiest I have ever been was when a friend of a friend realized my hubby and I would be a good match- and when I finally agreed as I said no at first.
3. I never thought I would have a book published, but I did.
4. I’m waiting for four packages that didn’t arrive in time for Christmas.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

Here are some photos of Angel Prancie. Today is the one year anniversary of her gaining her wings. My hubby and I talk about how much we miss her every day.

  7. Ellen,

Unfortunately good kids pick up bad traits from their friends but I hope Great One basically stays nice. The teen years is a super trying time for a parent. Good grief, I’m glad that’s behind me now! Getting a book published or in your case more than one is an amazing accomplishment and one I didn’t think would happen to me, too. It’s a wonderful feeling. I’d love to do it again. I just need to motivate myself to put feet to my new dreams. 🙂 Have a funtastic Friday,my friend.

    1. I was lucky my niece lived with us as a teen and she was a good kid. I thank you for leading me to a publisher. XO

    Have a safetastic weekend 👍 😷😷😷

  15. Ellen I know exactly what you mean about the Great one. I was a stay at home mom for the first 6 years of my daughter’s life. She went to a neighborhood play group run by retired teachers 2 mornings a week. The teachers taught such wonderful life’s lessons so it was a great atmosphere. When she started Kindergarten in 1976…it dawned on me that this was be the first time in her life that she would be away from me for 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I worried about the influences too. Somehow, her first 5 years of life’s lessons stuck with her thru elementary school . The h.s. she attended was huge over nearly 2,000. Luckily she knew how to stand up for herself.
    Hugs Cecilia

  16. I can’t believe Prancie has been gone a year. ~hugs~ She brought a lot of smiles. As for packages, it’s fun to anticipate the arrival of something, isn’t it? I ordered a kitty walking harness in hopes the kittens, or at least super active Terra, will enjoy getting outside sometimes. Be well!

  17. I really like how you answered all of these! The Great One already sounds like a wonderful person, and I have faith she will stay true to herself. And I had to laugh at your #4, because my answer was the same. I am waiting on something like 3 packages right now. One of them has been lost for going on 2 months. I don’t even know if it exists anymore. Purrs, and happy weekend!

  18. Hi we are back. We wanted you to know that Angel Tigger put her link in from her blog and Crystal And I put are links in. Our links are under Tigger And Friends and Crystal And Daisy Mae’s site.

  19. Mom says she always hoped the same thing for her own children and now for her grandchildren. So far it seems like all is well with three well-adjusted and successful children and six grands on the way to the same. It sure does make one feel good in this crazy world we live in.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  20. I missed this earlier Ellen, I’ve had a rough couple of days . . . those are nice photos of your Angel Prancie, and she looks so cute with your book! Great answers too! XO

  23. Your friend knew you well and made that perfect match with your hubby!
