If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link ( see below) to the hop so everyone can visit you.

  1. Thumbs up on your fill-ins, especially #s 2, 3 and 4. That is a super precious photo of Lucy! Happy spring! XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  2. 1. Lately, I have done a lot of working, shopping to find things to fill the pantry for ‘just in case, and washing my hands…til they feel raw….

    2. My family and friends are very important to me, esp at this time.

    3. I can’t help but wonder how long all these quarantine/sequestering will go on…its getting very old in a hurry….
    4. When I meet a stranger, I try to start a conversation with them to help them feel welcome. Waiting lines at cashiers are a good place to start one, if you see something in their basket that could spur on a conversation: Like the time I saw a man with a huge bag of generic cat food…we started chatting, and I found out he was taking care of stray kitties in his neighborhood:)

    Lucy was such a sweetie:)

    Happy Spring!

    1. Thank you for these great answers. My hands are all chapped too. Have a nice weekend and stay healthy. XO

  3. Great filling in today – we are always interested to know if people we meet are “cat people” too…..people who have pets are always friendly aren’t they! There’s a lot of reading and cleaning going on here – personally I prefer SLEEPING!

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. Ellen,

It’s natural to be scared but try to not let it overwhelm you. All we can do is protect ourselves the best we can as we pray for God’s hand to be upon us and those we love. Whatever happens, happens. It’s out of our control for the most part anyhow. We’re staying home as much as we can. DH is able to work at the office but I’m unsure how much longer that will go on. At anytime they may say, it’s time for the few remaining employees to work from home. We really don’t have a good place for him to do this but we’ll improvise and adjust the best we can. Happy first day of spring, my friend! Thanks for hosting!

  5. 1) Lately, I have done a lot of house cleaning (ugh!)
    2) My blinds are getting cleaned this week (2 a day or so
    and I’ll be done)
    3) I can’t help but be excited BECAUSE MY JOB INTERVIEW IS BACK
    ON yay!!
    4) When I meet a stranger, I usually clam up and keep quiet
(so job interviews are hard for me …. I MUST talk!)
    — FYI — the company is VERY SMALL so no worry about social distancing ..
this is my second in person interview and I have also had 2 phone interviews –
the lady was going to fly out this past Tuesday but plans all got cancelled –
they called yesterday and asked how I felt about going in and meeting with
the one person at this location with the other lady on the phone and I said that
YES I would be willing to do that… we will skip all handshakes and they
already have copies of my resume etc etc so no need to bring anything with
    me .I am VERY excited!

    1. Thanks for these great answers. I have done a lot of cleaning too. I hope you get the job. Stay healthy! XO

  6. What a wonderful shot of Angel Lucy. So precious. We had a touch of spring yesterday. It was most welcome after all the rain we’ve been having.

I love all your fill ins. I think we’re all scared.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins. Always such fun.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug. ♥

  7. Angel Lucy was an adorable spring flower. 🙂

I’m sorry that this pandemic has you scared. {{{Hugs}}} You’re in my prayers.

Your answer to #4 made me giggle. I can see it!

    Have a blessed weekend!

  8. Great fill-ins! It’s a scary time indeed. I hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy. I’m totally with you about answer #2 🙂

  9. guyz….pleez ta tell yur mom round heer strangerz due knot EVEN talkz ta one nother !!! 🙂 ♥♥♥

  10. MOL on # 4 fill in. I will say I find out if they are animal lovers; which gives them a gazillion high fives but being a feline friend gives them a place in my heart. As the friendship progresses I slowly introduce them to the fantastic world of felines
We heard last night that 3 counties including ours that form the Research Triangle are the epicenter of the virus here in NC. Probably in part due to the fact that each county is home a huge university.
    Hugs Cecilia

  11. Cat people are good, kind people♥ I hear you on #3, I think it is okay to say we are scared. Lucy, so sweet♥
    1. Lately I have done a lot of walking.
    2. My feet are killing me.
    3. I can’t help but crave a hot dog from the stand on the South Jetty.
    4. When I meet a stranger my little inner voice pops up.
    Hugs to you Ellen

    1. Thank you for these great answers. Hot dogs are tasty 🙂 And if you walk a lot then you deserve one-or two. XO

  12. Yikes, #4 is a bit harsh. But we all have our standards! I think you’re ok as long as you don’t dislike animals. Of course, the more animals you like, the better.

  13. Just change the word cats to dogs, and Mom’s answers would be all exactly the same as yours.

Hope you can find ways to relax this weekend. We are going to try to get the peeps here to do just that.

    Woos, Lightning and Timber

  14. Your fill-ins are fantastic! I completely and totally agree with #2. My kitties (and pup) are my life. I also really like how you answered #4. If a person doesn’t like cats, it’s really hard to relate to them. And I’m sending you and your entire family well wishes during this time! Oh, and Angel Lucy enjoying spring is adorable!

  15. Great fill-ins today. We haven’t participated much lately, but thought we’d answer here as cats in the household –

    1. Lately, I have done a lot of ___watching over Mom Paula with her being ill._

    2. My __claws____________are___getting a little long and sharp__.

    3. I can’t help but __sleep beside Mom Paula when she’s resting_______.
    4. When I meet a stranger, I _tend to hide at first________.

    Truffle

    1. Thank you for these great answers Truffle. Your mom is lucky to have you and your sister. XO

  16. There is so much to keep us busy around the house, so it’s easy to keep busy. When the weather is nice, we take a walk after lunch or supper. And before we know it, we’ll be able to get outside and do some garden work. That’ll be nice! One day at a time.

  17. I think every human is scared right now. TW says there’s no one out on the street to meet so she doesn’t have to worry. Thanks for hosting.
