1. I hope _________________________ never goes out of business.

2. So far, the highlight of my year has been__________________.

3. _________ takes up too much time.
4. If I didn’t have to sleep, I would spend that extra time _________.
My answers:
1. I hope Barnes and Noble never goes out of business. I don’t spend a lot of money there, but I love to walk through and write a list of books to get from the library.
2. So far, the highlight of my year has been seeing my great-niece tapping away in her first dance recital. Seeing I Am Not A Skunk get published is right up there too.
3. Cleaning takes up too much time. It needs to get done though.
4. If I didn’t have to sleep, I would spend that extra time reading. So many books , so little time. I have over 800 books on my Goodreads to -read list.

Thank you for the purrs and prayers for Sammy. His dental went well, but he lost a fang and a few smaller teeth. I kept the fang. He has one stitch on his nose from the biopsy. We will have the results next week so please keep purring and praying.
We are also joining FiveSibes Flashback Friday.Back in June 2015, Angel Phoebe was having fun on the cat tree.

  1. Sending sweet Sammy some hugs…..losing a fang and some little teeth is NO FUN and that nose is probably sore too. Hoping for a clear biopsy and QUICK healing from the teefs. Since he lives with the Tooth Fairy (!) I assume he’s getting an extra special treat from her???????????

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom

  2. I’m praying for Sammy. I’m sorry that he lost a fang. I hope that his test results will come back just fine. Praying hard here!

I hope Barnes and Noble never goes out of business either. That is one store that I’ve always enjoyed walking through.

I bet The Great One’s recital was just adorable! I remember when our two oldest had their first recital. All those little ones were just so cute. 🙂

    Have a great weekend, Ellen.

    1. Thank you for the prayers for Sammy.
I love going to Barnes and Noble, but I rarely buy anything.
The recital was adorable. Have a blessed weekend! XO

  3. Ellen,

Getting your new book published is an excellent highlight! Gee, I need to get a copy of that to read. BRB. Okay, I just bought the Kindle version from Amazon and I read it – very cute story. 🙂 I hope you sell lots and lots of copies!! Cleaning is one of those necessary evils. It consumes your time but has to be done and it when you’re done, you’re glad that you did it. WOW, you have 800 book titles on Goodreads? That’s a lot of reading! You might want to put on some coffee. Thanks for hosting the Friday fun. Have a pAwesome weekend, my furriend!

    1. Thank you fot buying the Kindle version- that is so sweet of you. I hope you have a nice weekend too. XO

  4. So happy the dental went well and I am sending prayers and healing vibes for the biopsy!
The Great One was in a dance recital!!! Lots of people said reading. I am wanting to read some books but after blogging and life stuff book reading falls behind.

  5. Sending more healing purrz to Sammy. TW wishes she had time to clean. MOL! I was under the impression B&N had already gone out of business. There used to be one in 2 Penn Plaza when TW worked there but it’s been gone for years.

  6. Continued prayers for Sammy’s biopsy. Hope it’s nothing.

Love the flashback. Those are fun to remember.

Love all your answers. I thought if you did’t sleep you’d spend more time with the kitties, but reading is a good thing.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥

  7. Nothing beats a bookstore! Love to hang out there, and peruse the aisles. Each one is different, especially the independent ones. So many books on your to-read list, and I thought I had a lot at 150! I’m whittling it down slowly, but then again, I don’t list all of the books in a series; I only add the next book up.

  8. All our best to Sammy! Our Lucy has had 4 teeth pulled over the past few years due to gum issues. Poor kitty. Here are my answers:

    1. I hope Ben and Jerry’s never goes out of business.

    2. So far, the highlight of my year has been moving to Vancouver WA.

3.Sometimes being on the computer and really not doing anything takes up too much time.

    4. If I didn’t have to sleep, I would spend that extra time reading and relaxing.

    1. Thank you. Poor Lucy. Thank you for these great answers. I am glad you like where you moved to. Have a nice weekend! XO

  9. We will purr that the biopsy is benign. I agree that cleaning takes up too much time, but when you have kitties it needs to be done.

  10. “So many books, so little time” OHMYGOSH…yes!!! I feel the same way. I can never catch up on my to-read list. That would take a few lifetimes 🙂

And I’m totally with you on #1. We have a Canadian bookstore chain that I love visiting. I don’t often buy anything but I enjoy visiting and looking through what’s in the store. It’s one of my favourite things to do to relax! In fact, I just got back from doing just that 🙂

Thanks for sharing your answers with us! xo

  11. I would be devastated if Barnes and Noble went out of business. It’s like the sole survivor in the realm of bookstores, and I hope it continues to survive. On a similar note, you and I had very similar answers for #4. I would love more time in a day to read, because my to-read list of books is also sort of scary.

I am so happy Sammy is home and recovering from his surgery! Purrs and prayers to him, and to all of you!

  12. Aww! I hope Sammy’s biopsy goes well to, I’m sure all will be fine 🙂

    I liked your fill-ins 🙂

    Have a fill-intastic weekend

  13. Enjoyed your fill-ins;.We just can’t believe your grand niece is old enough for a tap dance recital!!! Brings back so many memories of costumes and tap shoes. Can understand why that would be a wonderful highlight!

  14. Mum can relate to your #4 as she doesn’t think she will ever get round to reading all the books she wants to read!

    Healing purrs to Sammy xx

    1. SO many books, so little time- it is frustrating. Thank you for the purrs. XO

  15. We will keep up those purrs, prayers and POTP for Sammy. Mom is always amazed at how many books you actually have time to read with all your other projects. She could spend every waking moment reading if she had the opportunity. Of course, we’d never allow that. MOL! XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  16. Hope to hear good news on Sammy soon!
Book stores can be kind of pricey, I think, but I love to browse around them – I could spend hours!
