2. Ms. Ellen, do you share your chocolate with your cats? I ask because I’ve heard a lot of humans rave about chocolate, but haven’t had a taste… either they’re being greedy because it’s wonderful OR purrhaps they’re being honest that it isn’t good for us kitties.

   I always read the obituaries, too, but I neglected to mention that in my post. That is actually the part I head to first, then I look at the puzzles, etc.

   I agree about black cats. They are precious babies. 🙂

5. 1. Hurricanes and other natural disasters are such awful and scary things.
   2. I always read the pet advertisements, and the local shelter’s spotlighted fur of the week, and the obits too…and in the paper from Canada, I always check and news from there, to keep up in the newspaper.
   3. Black cats are adorable house panthers…if I was not having allergies to ‘regular’ kitties, maybe I would not have had 6 meezers over the years:)
   4. Well, of course ice cream is my favorite treat. And not the diet kinds either, MOL! Howevfur it doens’t come into the house anymore, just the kind that petcretary makes herself…think avocado mousse, and coconut milk…um…well, actually they’re not that bad!

    I forgot about the horoscope section. I like to read my horoscope at the end of the day to see if it fits with what has happened.

16. Your fill-ins are fantastic, as always! I have never read A Day No Pigs Would Die, and I’m now certain I never will. When I was in school, the book that traumatized me the most was Where the Red Fern Grows. I know it overall tells a beautiful story, but I’m not someone who enjoys reading sad stories, and that was just way too sad for 11-year-old me. Now, needless to say, I cannot wait for all of the fun Halloween costumes! Joanie is such a purrfect model. Purrs!

17. We always love reading your fill ins. Our mom misses the local newspaper in her hometown. Since living in the city she doesn’t like the Daily News or the other ones.

26. Who! Not so cool book. Gramps used to read the obits every day to see if he was in them. HAH! He wanted to know if he had to get dressed. #3 rocks. Pop likes Dove. TW wants Godiva but only sees them Feb 14.

27. I’m not much for papers – but my choices are usually the comics and the puzzles. Everyone can use a bit of a challenge and a laugh every day. This past week, we watched the USS Indianapolis movie and Momma couldn’t help but think of Nic Cage’s #1 fan! ps – good movie!

37. We seem to accumulate black cats. I don’t know why. The ones we have are sweet and friendly. Dangerous Drac is a cutie as is his sister, Boba Fatz.
