Hi everyone! Time for The Friendly Fill-Ins. Please leave your link here or at my co-host’s Four-Legged Furballs. You can also answer in the comment section.

1. My neighbors_____________________.

2. The last thing I purchased online was __________________.

3. I have never _________.

4. Anything is possible if _________.
My answers:
1. My neighbors on both sides of us are wonderful. One couple is older and have lived there for 50 years, the other couple is closer in age to us, also cat lovers.
2. The last thing I purchased online was a Keurig carafe my niece asked me to get her for her birthday. She is going to be 30, I feel very old. Her 2nd child is due on the same day as her birthday, that would be cool.
3. I have never left the country. I have no desire to either. Actually, I don’t even like leaving my home.
4.Anything is possible if you never give up and keep a positive attitude.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

  1. They do look cozy on that chair.

Nice fill-ins, i’m glad you like your neighbors, and i hope you don’t have to leave your home any more often than is absolutely necessary.

  2. How funny that you’ve never left the country… and I have! I guess there are not many international traveling kitties! Of course, to be one, you need an international traveling human.

  3. Oh my! You have similar fill-ins to Mom’s…..but you’re lucky to have NICE neighbors on both sides of your house whereas we don’t…….! Here’s to happy snuggling with Brody and Prancie – there’s always room for one more!

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. Great fill-ins! I have only been out of the country once, to go to Amsterdam and then on a tour of Greece & Turkey. I would love to go to the British Isles and Australia. 🙂

  5. Fun answers! It’s always nice to have good neighbours. Makes life so much easier 🙂 And cats hanging out together is always such a lovely sight!

  6. We like your fill-in answers. The Mom here likes to stay home too. Nice to see you two sitting together in the chair. You all have a wonderful day.

  7. Ellen,

I don’t like leaving the house except on the weekends I do enjoy getting out with DH. Your last fill-in response is on the same wave as mine. Thanks for hosting. I hope to see you on the dance floor Monday. Have a good weekend, dearie!

  8. Ms. Ellen, you had wonderful answers. I haven’t had the chance to leave the country, either, but I love going to the beach, so we’re in slight disagreement on that. Most of our neighbors are fine, though I could live without Misha and the way Saphera slobbers over her whenever she can. And no, I’m not jealous, not at all, in fact I thought that puppy was okay when she was smaller and less destructive.
    >^.^<

    1. Thank you. I know you love the beach, I hope you get to go soon. 🙂

  9. We’re blessed with pretty good neighbors all around except the house across the street seems cursed with acrimonious families. Now there is a younger couple moved in I’ve been too shy to approach. ~shakes head~ I wish them a peaceful existence. As for leaving the country, I used to think I would travel the world. Now my husband doesn’t even want to get on a plane and I’ve turned into a recluse. Ah, well. At least I visited Europe on a music tour in my youth, though I was in a haze of hormones and more interested in the choir boys. Take care, my dear!

  10. Fantastic fill-ins! Your neighbors sound like wonderful people. My neighbors are very nice people, but I can’t believe only one of them is a cat person. I am much like you when it comes to traveling. Nothing beats being at home. And I love seeing Prancie and Brody snuggled up so close. Too cute! Happy Friday!

    1. Yes, we are blessed. Being home is the best. Have a great weekend! XO

  11. First of all, thank you for stopping by, and I’ll give these a go… but first let me say I don’t have a kitty… sorry, but I do have a puppy… hope that’s okay.
    1. My neighbors are moving on one side of me. She just graduated. She’s gonna be full time nurse now & her job is far from here. So they’re moving.
    2. The last thing I purchased online was support hose. (I have venous insufficiency where my feet & legs swell like watermelons, but these socks have no toes. Woo Hoo I can where my sandals again! Yay me!
    3. I have never been to see a blue ocean/blue water. It’s definitely on my bucket list. I’d like to see blue water some day & even swim in it.
    4. Anything is possible if you believe in yourself.
    Have a great weekend.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. My hubby has to wear a compression stocking on one leg because of a blood clot. He has a prescription, I am glad you can get yours online. I hope you get to see and swim in the blue ocean soon. Have a nice weekend! XO

    1. Canada would be nice, but I don’t like to leave the kitties for one night even.

  12. Our aunt got the travel gene, our mom the home gene. Although she has been to Canada (twice) and Mexico (once), that was many many cat generations ago.

    Love the chair sharing photo!

  13. Miss Ellen, you always have such fun fill-ins! My answers: 1) neighbors are super nice and caring 2) purchased a toy for my furr-iend Otis 3) never hissed at Mom or Dad 4) if you have cat(s). Have a splendid weekend! Kisses!

    1. Thank you for your great answers. I am impressed that you have never hissed at your folks. That was sweet of you to get Otis a gift. XO

  14. 1. Our neighbors on both sides of us have cats (and dogs).
    2. The last thing we purchased online was Feliway.
    3. We have never gotten a tattoo.
    4. Anything is possible if you keep trying.

    1. Thank you for you answers, I enjoyed them. Feliway is a great invention. I would never get a tattoo. I completely agree with #4.

  15. We have nice neighbors on both sides too, but one of them has two boxers that are not very nice. The other has two dogs that are our good buddies.

Mom has never been out of the country but Dad keeps pushing her to go to a few places in Europe. She says she is very content to stay at home with us:)

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

    1. That is too bad the boxers are not nice, I hope they are fenced in or leashed at all times. Home with pets is best 🙂

  16. guyz….frum uz catz stand point oh view…we due knot like leevin de houz either coz it meenz carrier time = goin two de eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil place N never two de store… like we want ~~~~~~ ! ☺♥♥

  17. We have this saying in Germany, that you can’t live in peace if your neighbors don’t want you to, and nice neighbors make living so much better.
    The two look cute!

  18. My neighbors are quiet

The last online purchase was cat food.

I have never shot an animal.

Anything is possible if you keep on trying to achieve it.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. Quiet neighbors are the best. I am glad you have never shot an animal. And I completely agree with #4.

  19. Awww … we love the shot of Prancie and Brody. I’m always so curious about who gets along and plays nice and who doesn’t … it’s like I can’t get enough information on your kitties 🙂

  20. We share chairs, beds, laps, whatever! 🙂 We enjoyed your fill ins! Our peeps love to travel but love to come back home to us too!

  21. I’ve traveled outside the country a couple times – I’m not a fan of traveling. But once I get where I’m going, I usually enjoy it. But I’m a homebody, too!

    1. I am glad you have good neighbors despite them not having cats- the horror. 🙂

  22. We have new neighbours soon so No. 1 is a major worry for us in case they are cat hating loonies.

Brody and Prancie, you both look nice on the chair 🙂

  23. Great answers! You’ve lucked out on neighbors. TW had one in the old house who didn’t like her to call him at 3 a.m. to tell him to keep it down. He has a blog and he says terrible things about her. Even worse then I say.

    1. I have definitely lucked out, but there is a lot more space than just a wall between us so that probably helps. XO

  24. Nice fill-ins! I hate to leave my home too. I just love being indoors and besides, I hate to leave Athena alone for too long.

    Purrs xx
    Athena and Marie

  25. Our human loves to travel but we like it best when she stays home. Fortunately she likes being at home too! Freddie and Frankie.

  26. Oh! #3! That’s me too. I’d be happy just being home all the time. I have been to Canada though! LOL

  27. The kitties are cute. 🙂

I don’t particularly like to leave home anymore, either. I would like to go to Ireland some day, but it isn’t a pressing need these days.

Please tell your niece happy birthday for me.

Thank you for co-hosting the fill-ins. I always enjoy them. Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

    1. I hope you get to go to Ireland someday soon. I will tell my niece, thank you. XO

  28. It is always good to have nice neighbors. We recently watched a movie, Meet the Robinsons, with our oldest daughter (27). This movie had a great philosophy, “Keep Moving Forward”. That saying is based on a quote by Walt Disney. It is a Disney movie.
We are happiest when we can just stay home. It will be better when Amazon gets its grocery program priced right without the glitches.
    Have a blessed week.

    1. I will have to check out that film. I hope you have a blessed week too.

  29. How sweet for Prancie to share a corner of that chair!

    1. My neighbors are waiting for the sale of their house to ‘go through’. I am hopeful the next ones will be pleasant and peaceful…we have had some that were anything but:(
Though the current ones are a nice family; I will hate to see them go.
    2. The last thing I purchased online was a travel spillproof water bowl for Dalton.
    3. I have never smoked but sometimes the secondhand smoke was almost as bad…
    4. Anything is possible if you work hard enough at the goal…never ever give up!

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I hope you get nice new neighbors. I hate secondhand smoke too. I completely agree with #4. XO

  30. Our Female Human used to leave the country alll the time as she travelled quite a bit, actually, she was even born out of the country but these days she likes to stay as close to home as possible and with five fantastic felines in the house, why wouldn’t she??
    Purrs & Head Bonls,
Alberto & The Tribe of Five

  31. I have no internet connection, I’ll try to answer the questions here if I’m lucky!
    1. My neighbors-are strangers. We’ve been in this cul-de-sac for 3 years almost and no one has even attempted to meet us, greet us, or even wave. I introduced myself to my neighbor to the right of me, she still only occasionally says hi.
    2. Last thing I purchased online was a “self cleaning” litterbox for my new kitty. Self cleaning my ass! You still have to roll it to the right and hope the clumps go in the pull out tray, dump them, and clean up the litter that gets everywhere in the process, lol!
    3. I have never done heroin. When I was young, I experimented with a few things, but I never touched that!!
    4. Anything is possible if you believe in yourself and keep on trying!

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I am sorry your neighbors are not friendlier though. I had a self- cleaning box, but I sold it on craigslist because the replacements were too expensive. Glad you never tried heroin, it sounds deadly.
