Hi everyone! Today marks 2 fulls years of Friendly Fill-Ins. Thank you to all who have participated. Right now, Annie of McGuffy’s Reader is taking a much needed break. Please keep her and her kitties in your prayers as several of them have health issues.

I am pleased to announce my new partner in The Friendly Fill-Ins, The very talented and creative Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs. My answers:

  1. I spend an average of 6 hours per day online.
  2. When I go online, I use my HP laptop.
  3. Mother’s Day is when I usually make brunch for my mom, sister, niece and great-niece, but this year my niece is treating us all out to brunch at a local restaurant.
  4. I wish we never had to say goodbye to loved ones ( 2-legged and 4-legged).

  3. Emmy, that means you are going to have a Gotcha Day pawrty…I hope!

    1. I spend far too many hours per day online.

    2. When I go online, I use my Apple MacBook Pro…or sometimes my iPad.

    3. Mother’s Day falls in such a way that I have to go to work each year on this day…but its fun to see the families all coming in to visit with their maternal figures, be they Moms, Grannies or Aunts..

    4. I wish that there would be less strife in our world and more love and peace.

    I agree with you about having to say good-bye. It is just so hard to do. Over the past week, we’ve learned of the death of two dear friends, one here in Texas, and one back home in South Carolina. You’re in my prayers for your recent losses. {{{Hugs}}}

  6. Well we didn’t see the fill-ins before we closed down computer operations yesterday – sorry about that – so we’re answering HERE!! We will be back next week as usual and happy you have someone to help out while Annie takes a break. Teddy let ME fill-in the blanks and I put my fill-ins in CAPS!
    1. I spend WAY TOO MANY hours per day online.
    2. When I go online, I use my PC SINCE I DON’T HAVE A TABLET OR OTHER DEVICE!.
    3. Mother’s Day IS QUIET HERE – THERE ARE NO MOTHERS IN MY OR MY HUBBY’S FAMILY TO CELEBRATE WITH BUT WE THINK OF THOSE WHO ARE ANGELS.
    4. I wish EVERYONE A WONDERFUL MOTHERS DAY CELEBRATION!.

    1. I spend a lot less hours per day on line right now. I can hardly wait for life to get back to normal.

    3. Mother’s Day is going to be not the same without The Mama. She is missed.

    1. Oh, I just saw your great question about woodpeckers. How cool, because our breeds are the same except one. Instead of the sapsucker we have red headed woodpeckers. Interesting. The pileated used to come to a feeder now and then, right in our window. I can no longer afford the seed, but those were good times. What a big bird. Be well!

  17. We are sending our purrs, woofs, and prayers to Annie. I am very excited to be part of the Friendly Fill-Ins, and I really was thrilled when you asked me!

    I almost always use a laptop, mine being a Dell. I need to get a new one soon, as my current one has been a bit abused by both myself and the furbabies around here. Pup Astrid sat on it the other day, all 70 lbs of her. And I very much agree with you on #4. Saying goodbye is never easy. Prayers and hugs to you!
