Festivus

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Mewsic Moves Me hosted by Curious as a Cathy,Xmas Dolly, JAmerican Spice and Stacy Uncorked. The theme for Mewsic Monday is Christmas music- all month long.

I am bending the rules a little today and featuring Hanukkah music. Happy Hanukkah to all our Jewish friends.

1. Oy the the World:

2. The Hanukkah Song ( Adam Sandler):

And for Seinfeld fans, Happy Festivus! Angel Phoebe used to love Festivus- especially the airing of grievances. To see her Festivus from 2016, click here.

Emmy has decided to air her grievances.

I have many grievances:

  1. I am sick of having to wear hats and costumes.
  2. I can’t believe you only offer my 5 different choices of food when I refuse to eat- there are a lot more choices out there.
  3. Why do you bring that little girl over that likes to pet me? I am not into kids.

Being that it is the Christmas season, I will stop there.

  1. We love the hannukah song.

There ARE more than 5 flavors. We get duck, chicken, turkey, tuna, salmon, beef, venison, and rabbit. And rumor says there is mackeral.

  2. We miss Phoebe. I’d give just about anything to read a new post from her (how many people know who the “suck up” is? her favorite treat? her favorite word of frustration?). I’m not obsessed … I just remember.

  3. HAHAHAHA……..I love Festivus too thanks to Seinfeld. Angel Phoebe knew how to make her grievances known quite well and maybe Emmy is following in her pawsteps?!

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. Oh, Emmy, you are too, too funny. Put on your “nice girl hat” though so Santa will treat you well tomorrow night!
Merry Meowy Christmas to one and all at 15 and Meowing.

  5. Awww on Emmy. Love the videos. Love the grievances.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, my friend. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  8. I had completely forgotten about Adam Sandler’s Hanukkah song. I am so glad you reminded me of it. Emmy, we’re sorry about your grievances. Living with humans sure can be a task, can’t it? Happy Hanukkah to our Jewish friends!

  9. Ellen,

It’s okay to break the rules. I do on occasion, too. lol One can’t think about Christmas without thinking about the Jewish Festival of Lights and as I pointed out to someone today, as a Christian we’re celebrating the Light of the world’s birth. We all have reason to enjoy the holiday! Thanks for joining the 4M gang on the dance floor, my dear. Have a joyful and merry Christmas! xx

  10. Emmy, you’re such a cutie. Happy Festivus! I’d forgotten about that on Seinfeld:)

  11. Our Franklin understands the grievance about food very well! Once he’s eaten a can he’s done with that flavor and must have something new. Love the songs. Happy Festivus, Happy Hanukkah, and Merry Christmas to all who celebrate!

  12. Aww Emmy ~ sweet photo of you ~ Wishing you a Merry Christmas ~

Great videos too but Emmy is the star ~ grievances and all ~ ^_^

  13. Emmy, I think your list of grievances is very reasonable. I hope all of them are addressed in the new year. The little human might not be banished, but maybe you can hide away from her.

  14. Well, I want to wish you Happy Holidays. Sorry this is short, but it’s my 20th Wedding Anniversary today & we’re going out to dinner. Happy Holidays.

  15. Happy Hanukkah and i hope Emmy had a wonderful Festivus, it sounds like she does have some reason to wish certain things could change.

  16. I haven’t done my Festivus post in at least a couple of years, but the animated Nanny clip made my day – I had no idea! I hope you had an enjoyable holiday.
